This place is incredible for the elephants. The experience for us doing the canopy walk is great. I only wished that there was more elephants but I know that they're working on expanding and rescuing more elephants etc. The free drinks, snacks and elephant souvenir were happy bonuses for our kids. Happy to have supported this initiative by paying for tickets.
Did the canopy walkway tour. Upon arrival (we took a taxi on our own), the service was impeccable. The welcome and transfer was smooth and the facilities were even better than expected. Great knowledgeable guides and so nice to see the elephants just minding their own business.

Ethical + beautiful experience
Heartwarming to see how well the elephants are treated. It's a beautiful big park full of Thai vegitation. We could also see some wildlife and were safely guided through the experience. Very informative and friendly guidance. It's unlike other animal tourist attractions a very ethical sanctuary and we need more of these. Worth the money!
Amazing experience and really encouraging to see how respectful this sanctuary is to Elephants. Be careful of where you go, research that the place you are visiting doesn’t ride the elephants or make them swim with people. The process to train elephants to do that is cruel and inhumane. Basically breaking their spirit to tame them!

This is a great ethical elephant park. The elephants all look well cared for and treated well. They also have an elephant hospital where sick and injured elephants go to get better! It’s the only one in Phuket. I would recommend, you can get close to the elephants with out being in their way! They also have a carer per elephant who just observed them all day making sure they are all good and feel safe. Thoroughly enjoyed!
Best Elephant Experience
My friends and I had the best time at the elephant sanctuary. We arranged our own transport to meet up, and had an easy time checking in. We were given boots to keep our feet clean, then we grabbed some juice and breakfast which was included. While we enjoyed this, we watched a 10-15 minute video which was very educational and helped us learn more about the elephants, the organization, and where our money was going. We met our guide and started on our experience of the canopy tour. To our surprise, we were able to go down on the grounds and see the elephants closer, where they actually got pretty close to us (so awesome!). Our guide even took some pictures for us. The guide was very knowledgable to answer our questions and share the story of each elephant. I loved this activity way more than I expected, and I was happy to know I was supporting an ethical practice. We finished with a free beverage and light snacks, where we were given the cutest elephant stuffy as a parting gift. 10/10 recommend.
Informative and fun
It was nice to learn about the elephants especially in a way that was not harming them. The employees really care about the elephants too. The food provided was also good. There's a gift shop on site as well that had nice things. Wear pants though because you have to walk through the forest to view the elephants. A lot of the shrubs will hit your legs. They provide boots for walking.

Beautiful expérience in a beautiful place. You can see éléphants very close. They seem happy in their new retirement Life and lots of people take care of them. We learned a lot about them, their previous and current Life. Great thank to our guide Woody who is very smiling, fun and interesting!
Rewarding elephant experience
This was a fantastic experience. It was deeply rewarding to engage with these majestic animals in their natural habitat in a respectful and balanced manner. The stories of the elephants were movingly told by our guide, Thomas, who was a human encyclopedia with all knowledge on elephants and elephant behaviour. The setting was beautiful, the food was simple but delicious. It was a highlight for our family on our Phuket trip and highly recommend for anyone who cares for these amazing animals.

This was a truly stunning experience, seeing elephants in a beautiful environment, without needing to perform or work. We got to see them from above and close by, without disturbing them. Yaya our guide was delightful and clearly loved all the elephants. Would highly recommend as a must do in Phuket.
Could not recommend anything more. The staff here treat the elephants so well creating such a kind and ethical environment. The service here is amazing - everyone is so lovely! If you do anything in Thailand, do a tour here.
Amazing Tour! Well done PES
This experience was amazing! The tour of the sanctuary was thorough and the tour guides were very well knowledged on each elephant being cared for. Length of the tour was perfect also - not too short that we didn’t get money’s worth but also not too long that we didn’t fry. Transport to the sanctuary was also good. Driver was nice and steady despite all of the bumps and mounds in the gravel roads. Great experiences for all ages! Well done PES

Such an incredible experience. The staff are so knowledgeable and passionate in the care and service they provide to not only their guests but also the elephants. So much complimentary snacks and drinks. They also provided umbrellas to shade from the heat, cool towels and cold water to help with the heat. Our tour guide was Patty, and she was so incredible with the insight and knowledge she had to share about the elephants. She was able to go into depth about each elephant, where they had came from and even who their friends with and their personality characteristics. Also includes free little surprise at the end. You can tell they are truly passionate and committed to the safety and wellbeing of all their elephants. They also showed us an informative documentary, which was very moving and highlighted how important elephants are in our ecosystem, and how important it is to invest and develop ethical sanctuaries and promote ethical practices to protect these buetiful creatures. We still got to get up close to watch and take pictures, while also respecting their habitat and their personal space. I could not recommend this place more.

Amazing sanctuary. I did quite abit of research into elephant sanctuaries in phuket as didn't want to accidentally promote a unethical one and this one was classified as the most ethical as they do not force any interaction with the elephants, they've even phased out feeding which is wonderful as the elephants really get to thrive in their natural environment.
It was a wonderful day from start to finish, we had the 90 minute canopy walk which was more than enough time to see the elephants. The people running the place are wonderful and have great knowledge about the elephants. Our guide, Alex, in particular was amazing. He answered all our questions and you could tell he knew everything there is to know about the elephants.
The sanctuary is a very calm environment, there are works going on and it does scare the elephants sometimes (one in particular) but I guess it can't be helped.
The elephants themselves are fantastic ad hearing their stories is so heart wrenching. So glad they've finally found a place they can rest - keep up the good work. The hospital is particularly great to see, as they run it free if charge, using funds from the tickets.
I will add, the website doesn't make it completely clear how many elephants there are. I think there were more than 20 at one point but now there are 13 as many have died.
Please give your money to this place, they deserve it, the elephants deserve it!
