My P5 boy joined Maths and Science classes here towards end of 2025. Its Q3 2026 now, and he just scored full marks for his maths WA3 paper! Kudos to the teachers here to help improve his results and keep him on the right track. Definitely recommended
Negative Tuition Centre
Extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with this tuition centre, and I strongly advise all parents to think twice before enrolling their kids here.
First of all, their payment terms are extremely unreasonable. Parents are forced to pay tuition fees for three full months upfront, plus a one-time non-refundable $60 registration fee upon sign-up. My child only attended less than two months of lessons after I made the full 3-month payment and paid the registration fee. Shockingly, the centre’s admin notified me out of the blue that classes would cease completely after August simply because no new students joined the group. I ended up wasting the registration fee entirely through absolutely no fault of mine; this money was just taken for nothing.
When comparing pricing, this centre is outrageously overpriced. They charge S$65 per 90-minute lesson, while private one-to-one home tutors in Singapore only cost around S$40 per hour with fully flexible timings directly negotiable with the tutor. Worse still, the centre still collects full monthly fees even when they suspend classes on their scheduled tuition dates for their own breaks.
Their internal scheduling process is ridiculously cumbersome and a massive waste of working parents’ precious time. We cannot adjust lesson timings directly with the teacher. Every minor schedule change has to go back and forth: parent → admin → teacher → admin → parent. Tiny issues get dragged out into drawn-out WhatsApp conversations that easily eat up more than an hour, when a quick 5-minute phone call could resolve everything instantly. Repeated calls to their admin hotline always go unanswered, making communication incredibly inefficient.
To make matters worse, the admin team has an insincere, two-faced attitude. They blamed me for frequently requesting timetable adjustments and asked me to be more considerate, implying I was being troublesome. We would never request timing changes unnecessarily — rearranging schedules is inconvenient and stressful for us too. It is infuriating to be reprimanded for reasonable requests while the centre unilaterally cancels our ongoing classes halfway through our paid term.
Overall, poor value for money, terrible administrative efficiency, unresponsive staff and disrespectful customer service. Save your money and time by choosing alternative tutoring options.

Firstly, regarding the discontinuation of the class, the class was not stopped immediately after enrolment. Due to insufficient enrolment, we informed you approximately one month in advance that the class would not continue after the current cycle. All lessons that had been paid for would still be conducted and completed. No prepaid lessons were forfeited.
Secondly, our enrolment terms, including the three-month payment cycle and the one-time registration fee, are clearly communicated before enrolment. Parents are given the opportunity to review these terms before deciding whether they are suitable for their family's needs. The registration fee is a one-time administrative fee that applies consistently to all new enrolments and is non-refundable as stated in our enrolment policy.
With regard to our fees, we respect that every family has different preferences and budgets. Our fees reflect our curriculum development, teaching resources, lesson preparation, centre operations and the quality of instruction we strive to provide. While private one-to-one home tuition is one option available to parents, it is a different service model from small-group tuition and is therefore not always a direct comparison.
Regarding communication, our centre coordinates all scheduling matters through our administrative team rather than through individual tutors. This is a standard practice adopted by many tuition centres to ensure that timetable changes, attendance records and communications remain accurate and consistent across all students in a group class. We are, however, sorry if our response time did not meet your expectations, and we will continue working to improve our administrative processes.
We are also sorry to learn that our communication left you feeling unheard. It was never our intention to make you feel that your concerns were unwelcome. Our team always strives to support parents while balancing the schedules of multiple classes, tutors and students.
We value every piece of feedback as an opportunity to improve. While we regret that we were unable to continue this particular class due to enrolment numbers, we remained committed to honouring all lessons that had been paid for and provided advance notice to allow sufficient time for alternative arrangements.

My kids have attended Science tuition at Redhill center since P5. Mr Leon is a very nice and dedicated tutor. Their grades has improved after attending the tuition. Would like to recommend this Science tuition.
Path Finder Haven is an era education system, not only stayed in the classroom but also stepped outside the classroom for physical science activity.

I’m very pleased with the student care and tuition lessons conducted during student care hours. I appreciate the timely updates on the children’s well-being, their arrival at student care, and details of what they have for lunch and tea break. The daily snippets of lesson updates provide great visibility and reassurance, making me feel confident that my child is well cared for and supported academically.
Both kids have significant improvement having tuition here. Teachers teach them well, and have strategic practice towards exam
mr leon is a really encouraging tutor and will teach different methods to learn and apply different math skills more easily! He provides good tips and insights as well, and is very patient 😁

My P3 girl joined the centre in June.
Science was new to her and she failed her WA2/3, but Mr Leon patiently guided her through the topics. This EOY, she scored 68/80 — a great improvement!
My P5 boy also joined in June. Despite his busy football schedule and missed lessons, Mr Leon always made the effort to arrange make-up classes. This EOY, he even came all the way down to Redhill in the evening, despite his own busy schedule, to conduct a revision class before the exam. My boy did better than we expected!
A passionate and sincere teacher — highly recommended!

Teacher Leon is a very patient teacher. Even when I do not understand the question or concepts after he goes through a few times, he will continue to explain using different ways to help me understand it. My physics result has always satisfactory under his guidance.

i was taught math and chemistry by mr leon and he really helped me through my O levels. from basically failing and not understanding every math and science exam to passing my O levels and getting into the course i wanted was something i could not achieve without the help of Path Finder :>>
Mr leon was super patient with me and always kept the mood lifted instead of tedious. he always managed to find a way to make me understand a concept even if it took ages. he scheduled early morning zoom meetings with me right before exams just so i could get a last minute refresher of the syllabus and always answered my questions with patience. hes also rly funny lol

Finally Leon decided to open a Path Finder branch in Redhill! Happened to chance upon the branch when I walked past the block. My child used to attend tuition at the Jurong West branch and that was pretty challenging in terms of distance. But we still went ahead for weekly maths and science lessons and they proved to be worthwhile. My child was struggling initially but he eventually obtained A1 to A2 for all his Maths and Science subjects during O levels. Thanks to Leon and his team of teachers. Very grateful for their patience and guidance to achieve the results.

It was a fantastic learning journey of my daughter in maths and synergy,teacher is very good and given his very best to let my understand the maths concept.Admin really helpful to arrange the class timing for the tuition as my daughter cannot make it the fixed timing.Thank you MathSci Synergy for helping my daughter in her studies.
teacher will always tend to all the students question and make sure we understand. He will try to let us try and figure it out on our own before he gives the answers. The environment is overall good. Teacher interacts with the students too.

We joined this tuition centre after my daughter, Vern, failed her WA3 in Primary 3. Ms. Ilah patiently guided her with great dedication, and we saw a significant improvement in her results soon after.
