They gave excellent advice, accomodated delay requests, arrived and fitted when expected, fitting took 2 hrs max, everything working as expected.

There could be a call failing to connect, a mistake in the phone number, a mistake in the email, an email reply going to spam...........or something else we may never know.
We used Pet flaps UK to install a Microchip catflap in our glass patio door, replacing an old standard cat flap that was already there. Excellent experience from start to finish, including same-day installation. Our cats got used to the new flap very quickly. We are all delighted and I highly recommend them!

A very helpful and seamless, professional service. The communication was great from the initial contact to post installation.
Our fitter was excellent and left us with an expertly fitted cat flap in a wall, with no touching up required. He was quick, tidy and possibly left that area cleaner than it was 😅.

Had a cat flap fitted between a sliding patio door. Really pleased and the cats love it.
However, when the wind blows the flap blows open.
I raised this with the team and they sent out another flap, but said I had to fit it. Eventually they arranged for Josh to return to refit it for me.
Even whilst Josh was there testing it, the flap stuck open. Josh said he would flag it with the team.
I didn’t hear back, so I sent clips of it remaining open and asked for a response. I didn’t hear anything. I messaged Josh for an update and then emailed the team again, but I have been ghosted.
The cat flap works fine in fair weather, but it seems the magnet is not strong enough to withstand wind.
Everyone is very friendly but time is not a priority and waiting times have been long.

Thank you for sharing your candid review. It is a fair point that budget pet flaps of a traditional design, that is a horizontal hinge at the top, can have a tendency to blow open. Although our business doesn't design and manufacture pet flaps we do feed back customer comments to the manufacturers. Pet-tek are virtually the only manufacturer who make flaps with a slim profile to fit between UK standard sliding doors and we have suggested design improvements to the company's management. There are draught proof pet flaps and doors on the market, premium products by manufacturers Ranger and High Tech Pet and when customer have concerns about draughts we offer these but unfortunately they don't fit into sliding glass doors.
Super easy process and went from having to open and close the window for the cat to get out to her catio, to now she can come and go as she wants!
The whole experience was very easy. From the pre-order questions answered via the fantastic documentation and when I had extra questions I reached out to the extremely knowledgeable Pet Flaps UK customer service team and they answered everything. Ordering and payment (half up front and the rest on completion) was easy too. Then having measurements done properly by the wonderful installation person (to make sure what I measured roughly was correct), to receiving the acrylic and cat flap, right through to the installation.
Ours was a tiny window so the glass was removed carefully by the installer and I have it safely stashed to swap back if we move the catio or for the next home owner. Acrylic was sent with a perfectly round hole to fit the specific clear cat flap I had ordered. Once installed it looks perfect and the cat only took a couple of days to get used to it and now she is loving it. If I ever need another cat flap installed into anywhere in my house I know who to contact, as Pet Flaps UK really were superb!

Very happy with the service from Pet Flaps UK. The quality of service and workmanship was excellent, and we were given really good advice on selecting the right product (we went with the Ranger Pet Door).
We were kept informed along the way, as the Ranger door is shipped from the US so there was a bit of waiting for delivery. Once it arrived, we were quickly scheduled in for installation and everything was done in a timely and well-organised manner.
The installation was into a composite door, and everything was carried out neatly and professionally. Russell, the installer, did a great job, was friendly, and clearly knew what he was doing. Even the dog approved of him :).
Overall, a smooth experience from start to finish and we’re really pleased with the result. Would happily recommend.

It’s rare nowadays to find a company that does what it says it does when it says it will do it. Everything went perfectly and the finished product is fantastic. No hassle, no fuss, just a quality product with easy installation and great communication.

The customer care has been absolutely exceptional - we are due to have our pet flap installed in 10 days or so, and the regular updates/advice/care has been really impressive. Will update the review once we've had the pet flap installed, but I have no doubt it'll be a smooth installation, as the rest of the process has been seamless.

Very poor condition flaps! Not strong enough for dogs, even though they claim to be indestructible! Mine have broken 2 in the space of 9 months! This morning my dog went out for his morning wee and it smashed into 2.
Brilliant company and service.. because it’s an actual cat flap fitting company, you feel at ease knowing they are not going to do a bad job . Will be using them again

We needed a Cat flap fitted at short notice, Pet Flaps team did a good job of organising it but our fitter, Rob, was absolutely fantastic. Went above and beyond and made sure everything was sorted. Would definitely recommend.
