Mark and his team are simply the best in the business. From the very first conversation, it was clear that they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in delivering the highest quality service possible.
The entire process was handled professionally from start to finish. Communication was excellent throughout, every question was answered promptly and I always felt well informed and confident in the decisions being made. The installation itself was completed efficiently and to a very high standard, with great attention to detail.
What really sets Mark and his team apart, however, is the support they provide after the installation is complete. Many companies are quick to make promises before a sale, but Mark continues to be available long after the work is finished. Whether it's answering questions, providing advice, or helping optimise the system's performance, nothing ever seems too much trouble.
You can tell that Mark is passionate about what he does and is always focused on achieving the best outcome for his customers rather than simply making a sale. That level of honesty, knowledge and commitment is rare to find these days.
I couldn't be happier with both the system and the service I've received. If you're considering solar and want complete peace of mind, I honestly wouldn't look anywhere else. Mark and his team deliver exceptional workmanship, outstanding customer service, and ongoing support that is second to none. Choosing them was one of the best decisions we've made, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
I'd been looking at the possibility of getting solar and battery for our terraced house with a dormer roof and all the big companies said you can't put panels on a flat roof. When I discovered PET Mark explained that this was absolutely possible and I'm very happy with the outcome. We went with a Sigenergy 9kw battery and 4.8kwh of solar panels. It's mid April and as I write this I haven't used a single KW of energy from the grid yet today and will likely export over 10kw. Things I'd recommend would be to be very precise about the routing of cabling as it's quite thick and make sure you then use the right tariff to get the most out of the system (I'm on Octopus Cosy). You may need a new fuse box. We also got the prep work done for a heat pump at the same time (an extra cable from the roof). So I'm very happy with the work and would definitely recommend Mark as he will be able to give you a solution bespoke to your needs rather than something off the shelf.
Installed a 5k PV system combined with a battery. The design phase was very personalized. Mark came on site and took all the time needed to talk through different ideas. Much better experience than the e cookie cutter online designs you get most places. Mark never complained when I asked him to price multiple options several times over.
The install happened exactly as and when agreed. All very professional and quick turnaround. Support after installation was great. I’m so happy!
The best thing? They were 20% cheaper than most other quotes I got for comparable systems.
Happy to recommend to anyone!
Personal Electric Technology knocked it out of the park with our 13.4 kW solar panel and 10kWh battery system installation! From the initial quote to final commissioning, their professionalism was unmatched. The team arrived on time, kept me informed every step of the way, and had the entire setup running smoothly in just a few days. They used top-tier Aiko Solar panels paired with a 10.5kW hybrid inverter, which integrates perfectly with our smart home system. No mess, no stress, and they handled all the Smart Export Guarantee paperwork seamlessly.
The system’s performance is phenomenal—already slashing our bills and powering our home with clean energy. Personal Electric Technology are true pros who make going green effortless. Highly recommend them to anyone considering solar—couldn’t be happier!
Mark and the team were a pleasure to work with. They really listened to us and worked hard to accommodate our preferences despite some unforeseen difficulties routing the cables from the panels to the battery. We're very happy with the result and, 3 months in, the system is outperforming the forecast by a comfortable margin. Even the scaffolders were nice!
P.E.T, and Mark Shaffer in particular, were excellent. Prompt, responsive and clear in setting out the options, without the jargon, and efficient with a high standard installation of 17 panels and a big battery. Also support throughout on managing the system via the app and sorting the export license in order to get paid out on the excess which I’m now returning to the grid! Big thumbs up.
had Mark out to install my solar panels , he changed the date 4 times !!! , added extra costs onto the job at the end !!! And was very pushy and aggressive at the end when the job took weeks to complete!!! Avoid avoid avoid

Mr Steel, please get in touch with us urgently as we have no record of your installation. We are in contact with all our customers as part of our aftercare package and we do not believe you are a customer. We are sorry you have had a bad experience with your installer but, I am afraid, you have the wrong company here. In the meantime, we have reported this to Google, but please contact us if you are having difficulties.
A bespoke instalment was proposed within our quote after a thorough site visit. This came in £5000 cheaper than the competing quote, and with a better system. The other company were proposing a cookie cutter system. I’m glad we went with PET. They explain everything upfront from the initial process to the aftercare.
The aftercare is very important, as they just don’t build the system and leave. PET keep an eye on the efficiency of the system, and advised me on how I could approach my families energy consumption from day to day, looking at how to reduce our energy consumption whilst attempting to make a minimal impact on our lifestyle. This steps into Energy Consultancy territory.
Very happy….
