A Real Local Gem
We booked our table easily via WhatsApp, and I’m very glad we did as the restaurant was completely full and unfortunately had to turn several walk-ins away during the evening. The restaurant itself is small and set slightly back from the main road. Our table was a little close to the road so it was slightly noisy at first, but the attentive owner and host who greeted us immediately offered to move us to another table. We chose to stay where we were, and as the evening went on and the restaurant filled up, the noise settled and it became part of the atmosphere. What really stood out was the quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, and the knowledge and passion for authentic Italian cooking. The team clearly takes pride in what they do and it shows in every aspect of the food. The wine selection was very good, the service perfectly paced, and we never felt rushed at any point during the evening. It’s clear that if you know about this place, you know it’s a real local gem. Everyone who looked after us was friendly, attentive, and extremely polite, and the dishes we had were absolutely fantastic — genuinely the best food we’ve had in Koh Samui so far. If I had to offer one very small point for improvement — and I’m really being picky here just to add a bit of balance — it would be the wine service, as we found ourselves pouring our own glasses more often than not. That said, it really wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, we had a great experience, and this restaurant is a must visit if you’re anywhere nearby.
