Woke up to find our ducted heater wasn't working with an error code on the Netcontroller. Turning the heater off and on again didn't resolve the issue so I reached out for recommendations on Facebook. Someone recommended CoreTemp - they'd had a fault with their heater and CoreTemp fixed it straight away. Rang CoreTemp and Alice was extremely helpful, said she had a Technician nearby and would see if he could swing by. Gave her the details of the issue and less than 10 minutes later Alice rang back to say Nathan was on the way. Nathan was very careful and considerate, gave the unit a service, including cleaning the flame sensors, did a reset on the circuit board and then a reset on the Netcontroller panel and the fault cleared and the heater was operational again. All done by midmorning. Excellent report sent through detailing the work done including photos. Highly recommend CoreTemp for their service and professionalism.

This is the second split system bought and installed by CoreTempAustralia. This time my Mum needed to replace a system that had packed up in her home, I rang on Monday morning around 10am and within 15 minutes Emily was at her place. Emily was very informative on which size system was needed for Mum's house and talked Mum through the process. CoreTempAustralia installed the unit on the Friday of the same week and the workmen did a great job, cleaned up after themselves. So my 84 year old Mum was greatly appreciative on the ease of the whole process. Highly recommend CoreTempAustralia.

We landed on PHACS after reading reviews here so only right that we post our experience. PHACS was helpful, tailoring their split system quote and installation to suit our request to avoid equipment being on the front of our home. Yes, they did warn that we may hear the hum of the condensate pump. However, they subcontracted the job and missed a key component during installation. After they retrofitted the component we had more than a year of disruption at the end of which PHACS dismissed our continuing concerns. We approached an independent contractor recommended by Mitsubishi HI who confirmed the component missed by PHACS had likely damaged the pump and this was why it sounded like a coffee grinder during the night. PHACS did then offer to come back but it was too little too late. Integrity is important to us so we didn't want to waste the other firm's time having had to involve them. So, we were best part of $600 out of pocket. Good service is judged when problems arise, and unfortunately PHACS fell short when it mattered most.

Thank you for your feedback and for acknowledging that our team worked with you to design a system that avoided placing equipment on the front of your home.

As discussed during quoting and installation, a condensate pump was required for the configuration requested and we did advise that some operational noise would be present with this type of setup during cooling mode.

After installation, PHACS attended the property on multiple occasions to inspect the system and investigate the concerns raised with the bedroom unit.

During these visits we assessed the installation and discussed possible causes of the noise, as well as potential alternative drainage solutions that would remove the need for a condensate pump entirely.

At the time of our inspections, no installation fault was identified and the system was operating within the expected parameters for a pumped condensate configuration.

We also advised that if there were concerns regarding the equipment itself, a manufacturer warranty assessment through Mitsubishi Heavy Industries would be the appropriate pathway to determine whether any product fault existed. This option was offered but was not pursued.

We always aim to support our customers and investigate any concerns raised, and we regret that you feel the outcome did not meet your expectations.

We replaced our gas heater with a split system and had a great experience from start to finish. The team was professional, friendly, on time, and communication was excellent throughout the process. I had a couple of questions after the installation and really appreciated the prompt and friendly response, including the team coming back twice without hesitation to make sure it’s all done properly. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend.
