I first reached out to Peak Vitality because I was having chronic acid reflux. During the course of 4 months with the assistance of my health coach who helped keep me accountable, I no longer suffer from chronic acid reflux. The program helped teach me to eat better in a way that I still enjoy. I also lost 20 lb in the process and a month or two after having finished the program I have still kept off that weight and am feeling good.

It is way past time I wrote a review for this place! I have been asked to write other reviews for other places, and had to come back to one of the most impactful places. I am late because one of my "hopefully results" happened and that little baby in now almost a 3 year old (life got pretty busy after that)! I had had the blessing of working with them over 3yrs ago. It was life changing. I started mostly to change my health around. I was so sick and struggled so much that my husband thought I could be dying. I really couldn't do much of anything around our house, my health was so bad. I started with them and immediately my health changed so quickly after blood work and starting to work with my health coach and the team. With my health improving I unexpectedly got pregnant within 1-ish months. It was a goal, but I didn't expect it so soon, if at all. They helped me keep up with healing my body and continuing with the program. They even followed through postpartum, adjusting my program to do that, ensuring I knew how to heal after that critical time as well. It has been so long, so not every detail of what I went through is so sharp in my mind, but I remember how every health struggle was heard and taken into account to help me. I am greatful to Dr. Dan, Shaylee- my health coach (deserves another review for how supportive and amazing she was-I can't thank her enough), and the whole team that worked behind the scenes to change the path my health was taking. I serendipitousy found Peak Vitality and it is exactly what I needed. There are required tests that showed exactly what I was/am dealing with, which no other practioner had even mentioned, or they waffled on as options. Peak is very detailed and transparent with test results, plans moving forward, next steps, and progress. And I finally have answers after seeing numerous of functional and other practioners!
I have constant support from multiple professionals as I've gone along my protocols. Dr. Dan Kellams took the time to discuss with me before and after tests, discussing Peak, what I will go through, and my results and next steps. There are proven, tested products that I am taking which are chosen specifically for me, based off my tests and individual needs. They are not pill pushers and don't dabble in trends.
Some issues I was/am dealing with were unique and were rough to go through...I had constant support the whole time. After going through the pathogen protocol and part way through the next one, I am feeling so much clearer! The foggy feeling has lifted, my focus is better, my memory is stronger. This may sound odd, but it feels like I have stepped out of the sludge and muck-body and mind-and feel unbelievably better, lighter and brighter. I am only 3 months into the program and am so thankful I found and am working with Peak.

**Please read before spending any money here, and beware that they have found a way to delete all of their other countless one star reviews while leaving five star reviews for themselves. If I can help prevent one person from wasting their money, it will be worth it.**
I came to Peak Vitality as a last ditch effort for a chronic health condition that I’ve been suffering with for years. I was desperate for help, and was encouraged by the multilayered and team approach to healing offered by Dr. Dan and his staff.
During the intake process, Traci, the new patient coordinator, explained to me that treatment ranges “anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand dollars” depending on the severity and complexity of the case. This was a broad range but felt reasonable given the scope of the work.
The next step was a new patient intake call with Lisa. The call was very thorough and allowed me to provide a complete overview of my health issues, which she provided to Dr. Dan who came up with three potential paths forward for testing.
Option One (Most Comprehensive): $4,006
Option Two (Middle of the Road): $3,128
Option Three (Bare Minimum): $2,488
They called this “Dr. Dan’s Wishlist” and needless to say, strongly encouraged me to go with option one.
Despite being a bit more than I was prepared to spend, I was desperate for answers and didn’t want to leave any stone unturned. I had also been told that the high end of treatment would be “a couple thousand”, so I proceeded with option one and began to budget for a $6,000 total treatment cost. I consistently worked 60-70 hours weeks to set aside as much money as I could to pay for treatment. It was miserable, but I was willing to do whatever it took to get my health back.
Two months later, the test results finally came in and it was time for my consultation with Dr. Dan. For the first half hour, we went over all the results, and it finally felt like I had some answers.
Then at the end, it was time to go over pricing. All of the sudden, instead of the “couple hundred to a couple thousand dollar” price tag, Dr. Dan now told me I needed to pay $25,477! Over 12x the high end or “worst case scenario” of what was originally quoted for one year of treatment. I had prepared for the possibility that it might be a little more than $2,000 (fees, taxes, extra testing, etc), but over 12 times is outrageous.
I told him that this was significantly out of my price range, at which point he offered three other options. A lower tier plan including four months of treatment for $8,439, a middle tier with eight months for $16,628, or a monthly subscription plan for $370 which included one monthly appointment (not with Dr. Dan), and any treatment would be an additional cost. It’s easy to see how they try to rope you in with this one and then mark up treatment to get you to spend a significant amount of money.
Dan was very clear that only the most expensive plan would be sufficient for me to feel better, and that none of the other plans were comprehensive or long enough, saying that they would only get me part of the way healed. He then sent me three “free” supplements, including a peptide injection, but wouldn’t tell me how to use them unless I paid for one of his plans. I found this to be incredibly reckless and unsafe to administer prescription supplements without guidance.
Not only is their pricing model not transparent, but they lied to me. Now I’m down $4,000 with no path forward. Dan tried to tell me that it’s because my case is more complex than most, but Traci clearly told me in the intake that treatment for complex cases was $2,000. This is the only reason I felt comfortable spending $4,000 on tests.
I strongly encourage anyone thinking of using this company to look elsewhere. Don’t fall for it like I did. Find someone that cares more about treating their patients than they do about profiting off of desperation. If they did it to me, they can do it to you.

I gotta say, this place is amazing! I was honestly worried to come in because, there's always the chance that I waste my money on someone steering me wrong (traditional medicine type stuff). Ex: Went to ER feeling really weird after lots of gut problems and they sent me home with a 6k bill and advice to "eat BRAT for a week then eat whatever" 😶 then I was worried about underlying stuff but wanted to really practice some self love and get it checked out.
Either way, I'm super happy because the staff here is super trustworthy and knowledgeable. Telling me exactly what's in my gut, what it does, and how to heal. I mean, exactly what I wanted. If you're thinking it might be a good fit after this and the video, I'd say do it. I know I'm happy I did. Very helpful and would 10/10 recommend!!
Oh and last thing, I really know how it is to look through options with a healthy sense of skepticism, then getting a bit turned around, so the bottom line is where/who do I think will help me heal the best? I think I picked the right spot for me. Hopefully it is for you too!!

I started coming here during Covid when I had a frozen shoulder. Doctors said I would have to have surgery. Dr Dan and his staff immediately started a weekly treatment and it got better over time with no surgery. Fast forward to today and they now are helping me cope with menopause.
