We had an excellent experience with PDX Movers from start to finish. The crew arrived on time, worked efficiently, and handled all of our belongings with great care. They were professional, courteous, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process, making our move much less stressful.
The only drawback is their three-hour minimum charge, which can make shorter moves a bit more expensive.

Austin, Cole, and Jacob made my move a breeze. They were punctual with fantastic customer service. They hauled box after box through the heat like they were born for it. These fine lads hauled a heavy reclining couch up three flights of winding stairs with ease. Despite my move taking longer than estimated, due to the stairs being a larger challenge than anticipated, these troopers kept on until my new apartment was unloaded and positioned to my fancy. Without a doubt I would recommend this crew for others who wish to not lift heavy things

Since 2020 they have moved me out of a whole house and stored everything, then they moved me into another house, and three years later moved me out of that one and have been storing almost all my stuff again for a year and a half. In my view moving is Basic Hell, but they (everyone from estimator to day-of-move muscle people to warehouse staff to billing person) have been unfailingly smarter than the average bear and kind and efficient. Today I visited my storage and did not request assistance but ended up getting a huge help to access one special item, so efficiently and so matter of factly so, "no problem" that it made my day. My friend, another old lady, had them move her from Portland to Walla Walla and was thrilled . I obviously highly recommend these good people.

They came to our in Albany to move us to Texas, they did not show up with proper moving containers that we paid for, they wrapped stuff and put into their own 26ft box truck. Once at the warehouse they then loaded it all into the containers, once the move was done we found many things had been taken apart that was not originally wrapped that way, some stuff was clearly not handled with care and many boxes were smashed. We are still unloading boxes and totes into our new house. They damaged our couches they broke the legs off a desk. Scratched up my tool box, smashed some legs on some other tool boxes as well.
So very happy with how they treated our stuff. It was also not great to have the workers smoking weed while at our house. If that's your thing great just don't around me.

After reviewing the job, photos, and notes, we found that the shipment left our warehouse in good condition and was loaded securely. The photos we sent you from our warehouse load show the containers were properly packed before departing. Unfortunately, because multiple parties handled the shipment after it left our possession, we cannot determine exactly when the reported damage occurred.
Regarding the loading method, there was a miscommunication on the order that resulted in the shipment being loaded into one of our trucks and transferred into the containers at our warehouse. We understand how this may have differed from your expectations. We take full responsibility for this mistake. That was on us, and we are sorry for the confusion.
We also want to address your concern regarding an employee smoking marijuana while on the job. We take that very seriously. After investigating the matter and reviewing our truck camera footage, we were able to identify the employee involved, and he is no longer with our company. We have a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol at work. We sincerely apologize for that experience.
Because the move was booked through Zippy Shell, any damage claims and valuation coverage are handled through them. We have reached out to them regarding your claim but have not been provided any details.
We understand how frustrating it is to discover damaged items after a long-distance move. Regardless of how Zippy Shell handles your claim, we are willing to work with you to help make things right. Our goal is for every customer to feel they were treated fairly and professionally.
