We have had a wonderful experience with this Pasadena Music Academy. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about teaching. They create a positive and encouraging environment where children can learn, grow, and enjoy music.
I started my daughter at PMA on the recommendation of a friend who is a musician, and we have been so happy with our experience there! My daughter has been taking voice lessons with Ms. Kris for a few months now, and she absolutely loves them. From the moment she walked out of her first lesson, my daughter was begging to keep taking lessons with her. My daughter didn't even want to skip her lesson on her birthday, and that says a lot. What more could you want as a parent?
My son LOVES his teacher, Daniel. He's a grumpy 13 year old boy, but he lights up when he sees Daniel. He's learning to love and enjoy Piano. This school is great at communication, scheduling make-ups, etc. We are very happy here.
I began taking violin lessons as an adult at PMA about 4 months ago. It had been years since I last played the violin so I wasn't sure what to expect. The complimentary lesson at PMA was such a positive experience that I decided to register for regular lessons. My instructor Kevin Massin is very patient and he explains and demonstrates techniques thoroughly and clearly. He is also very knowledgeable about the instrument and inspected a violin that was given to me by a friend to practice with. He asked what my goal is with regard to playing the violin. I explained that I want to play hymns proficiently at my church. So my weekly lessons are supplemented with playing hymns of my choice which makes it much more interesting and enjoyable. The cost of the lessons is reasonable and well worth it.
Our experience with Pasadena Music Academy has been awesome. My 14 year old loves his teacher Matt Battle. He looks forward to class every Monday. Taking the music production class with Matt at PMA has helped him grow his love for creating music. He learns all the different features and aspects of Ableton and that motivates him to spend a lot of his free time seeking out music he loves/would like to emulate, as well as trying out all different instruments as well as unconventional ways to make sound. My daughter loves having ukulele lessons with Shay S, she has gained so much confidence and enthusiasm in just a few short weeks. These lessons really helped her out of a difficult time and she really looks forward to them each week, can’t recommend this music program enough.

She is patient, experienced, and wonderful with kids. My daughter genuinely looks forward to every lesson, and Elisabeth has really helped build her confidence and interest in singing.

I have been taking lessons with Mr. Thomas for quite a while now, and he always tailors them to my interests to make them as fun and productive as possible! I have definitely improved a lot. He is also always thoughtful, kind, and keeps us informed so planning schedules with him is never hard.
My son has been attending Pasadena Music Academy for almost 2 years. When his first teacher. Patrick, who we really liked, left we were wondering if we'd be as happy with his next tescher, Kevin. Kevin has been fantastic as well. We are happy with our son's progress. Thanks Kevin!

I've always felt them to have such an encouraging and celebratory atmosphere - it's been wonderful to watch my eight year old grow in her confidence and hear her tell me how proud she feels after a performance. Both my sons learnt their instruments at PMA first before moving into their PUSD music programs while continuing with PMA. My eldest learnt trumpet and my youngest is 2.5 years learning drums with Mann Bipin. Mann is not only the best drum teacher I have seen, he is the best music teacher period. Highly recommend him and PMA!
