This school is unprofessional. Teachers consistently start sessions late but end them on time without making up the lost minutes. There was a time when they cancelled my daughter's class without communicating with us. I've moved my child to a new school that is higher quality and cheaper. I definitely don't recommend this business
My son has been taking music lessons here for six months. His teacher, Melanie, is wonderful. She warms up the children before class to help them relax. Melanie always teaches every lesson diligently, and my son really likes her. She's like a big sister to him. The teaching staff here is excellent and trustworthy.

I retired last year and finally have time to play guitar. A long-time goal of mine was to get out of the perpetual “beginner” rut I always found myself in. I’ve been attending PMA for over six months, and my teacher Alex S. is great at working with an older student. We work on fretboard exercises, guitar licks, ear training, scales, and are beginning to play classic rock songs! She also throws in some music theory to help me understand how it all goes together. In addition, the staff at Pasadena Music Academy are friendly, helpful and communicative. PMA communications via email are particularly timely and useful for keeping me informed on my lessons, etc.

After a brief break from my guitar practice, I enrolled in weekly sessions with Tracy Lambertucci. I am an intermediate classical guitar student. She immediately figured out the path I needed to be on. Tracy improved my technique and introduced me to improvisation. Tracy is skilled and patient in her guitar teaching sessions. I would greatly recommend her as a guitar instructor.
Our two daughters have had a great experience at PMA—one is learning electric guitar and the other piano. Their teachers are patient and encouraging, and we’ve seen steady progress. Highly recommend.

We love Ms Tiffany for piano! My 6 yr old went from zero to reading music and playing with 2 hands in just a few weeks. The facility is really nice and feels state of the art with sound proof rooms and modern updated equipment.

Gabriel is an amazing and energetic teacher! He explains everything very clearly, and his lessons move at a great pace, so my child stays engaged the entire time. After just one substitute lesson with him, my child immediately asked to switch to Gabriel as the regular teacher. We are extremely happy and highly recommend him! 👍🏻✨

My daughter had a string lesson with Mr. Kevin Massin and had a very good experience. He is highly encouraging and teaches at an effective pace. My daughter learned a lot from him and gained lots of confidence in her instrument, for which we are very grateful! His availability is limited to Mondays and Wednesdays.
My son has been coming here for drum lessons and we absolutely love it! We love Nadine ! Best instructor, so patience and knowledgeable! My 5 year old loves his lessons and has learned so much in the short period of time coming.

The whole staff at Pasadena Music Academy are great! They’re helpful, communicative, and the teachers are just amazing. Abigail, specifically, is SO knowledgeable and explains how the body works when you are singing. I was taking my daughter but I, myself, have been to singing coaches before and nobody had explained things the way Abigail does…which I think would’ve been helpful if you’re the kind of learner who wants to go deep. Thanks Abigail!
