Papa Joes is the best and will be my only call when I need appliance repair. They are honest and straight forward and will tell you what you really need to hear while educating you along the way. That was certainly my experience working with them
And will keep me coming back. John was prompt and thorough and found an out of the box way to solve my leaking 3 year old washer at a really affordable price. Top notch and much appreciated!
I have used this small family-owned company for over 10 years now. They have helped me on many appliances and even found that my dryer vent was very dangerous and fix that for me also. I love my small mom and pop shops and this is one of them. I wont to go anywhere else!

We take pride in our service. We take dryer's and dryer venting very seriously and will always put the customer's needs first when it comes to safety. Unsafe dryer's and venting cause a lot of house fires so I am glad he was able to make you and your family safe!
I called Papa Joe’s Appliance to ask about a washer repair and spoke with Sandra. She was beyond pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable. She walked me through all of my options over the phone so thoroughly that I did not even need to schedule or pay for a service call. She was honest about what was realistic and genuinely cared more about helping me than making a sale.
We ultimately realized I did not need their services yet, which honestly made me wish I had another broken appliance just to give them my business. They will absolutely be the first people I call when I do need help.
The best part was receiving a handwritten thank you card in the mail just for reaching out. That level of customer service is rare these days. Highly recommend!!!
I don’t know how much space we’re allowed to use on here for reviews, but we just had Papa Joe’s here to repair our 6 year old GE bottom drawer refrigerator. It would not stop running and the fruits and vegetables were freezing in the fresh food drawers. Considering it was the day after Thanksgiving, I wasn’t sure how soon we’d be able to get someone here. But, John was here within 2 hours of my phone request. And within 10 minutes of his arrival already had the diagnosis, went to his truck, got the replacement part, and started replacing the faulty part.
All I can say is if you need appliance repair work done, just call Papa Joe’s first. John is extremely knowledgeable, has very fair pricing, and does the job quickly. I hope I never need to have appliance repair work done again, but if I do I will definitely call Papa Joe’s!
This company is so amazing. Called for a repair on my Amana washing machine and the person on the phone was very straight forward about this issue being a constant issue with this type of washer and there is no fix so it would be best to save my money that I would be putting out on a service call and buy a new one. He gave me me the name of a place to shop that has great prices and even gave me details on how to make sure my next washer doesn't have any issues. Great company and great people!
Like the other negative reviews, I also would not recommend based on poor customer service and just a negative attitude overall.

Dear Joseph, you left out the fact that you had already attempted to work on your electric oven twice prior to calling us replacing your ovens thermostat both times not knowing what you were doing. If you had in fact reviewed our guidelines on our website, you would have been informed that we will not service an appliance once the homeowner has attempted to service it themselves for safety reasons. So thank you for the 5-star review. So, for everyone who reads this dishonest review you now know what we have to deal with tith on a daily basis. There are so many great people out there and like this one not so great. No one can beat our customer service and quality!
I called Papa Joe's this morning with a broken fridge. I explained the problem and John was honest with me rather then trying to unnecessarily have me pay for a service call. He gave me instructions on what part to order and where I could find the part. Its refreshing to deal with an owner who genuinely treat people with respect and doesn't try to squeeze a customer for every dollar. Thank you John!
Would not recommend. Called tonight with a refrigerator issue. Instead of a polite and professional response from John that they do not repair my brand, he felt the need to berate the brand (and me).
Company B not only scheduled me for the first available they had (Saturday), but also had a tech call me and give me a couple of things to try because they understood how troubling the issue was for me. With some basic guidelines and my engineering background; I was able to fix it myself tonight.
So yeah 0/10 would not recommend John
Do not use this company
I couldnt leave a 0. Do not I repeat do not mess with these people. I called to have a dryer vent cleaned and at that time they said no problem the tech has the tools. The tech shows up checks the dryer and then tells me he cant clean the vent because its a second story laundry. I call the office because they charged me anyway and John tells me you still have to pay your bills (not that I dont) the tells me to have a god damn good day fuck off and kisses and hangs up. Classy place
The only appliance repair company I’ll call from now on! Family owned and operated, and truly top-notch service. They’re very responsive and honest. I had another company come out first and they quoted me way too high. I was then referred to Papa Joe’s, and I’m so glad I was. Sandra and John were wonderful & very knowledgeable — they ordered the part, kept me updated, and scheduled the repair quickly. They make sure everything is done the right way. I also love that they give a 2-hour appointment window and text when they’re on their way. Highly recommend!
