A wonderful gem of a place
This is a stunning house, and a hotel experience that feels like staying with friends in a beautiful manor house. Super comfy bed and lovely room with a proper writing desk at the top of the house. A delicious home-cooked dinner and breakfast, in the kitchen. Beautiful countryside and a bucolic, peaceful location. I hope I have more business in this area and would love to return for a personal visit with my family.

Perfect location, amazing food, super friendly hosts, gorgeous house and grounds. Loved every minute. Didn't stay this time on site but have done previously and the rooms and facilities are of a super high standard. Great place for a conference/meeting/seminar, would highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! I was lucky enough to stay for four days as part of a training course, so not only did I get to enjoy the comfortable, well furnished rooms and the incredible breakfasts, but also the delights of Nancy's cooking at lunch time too. I couldn't fault anything about the stay, from homemade chocolate chip cookies the rooms, to Nancy catering for all of our group's dietary quirks with ease, to meeting Frank and Willow their lovely dogs (generally kept our of the way, but we were a group of vets so of course had to meet them!). I haven't dared stand on the scales since I've been home, but I haven't been so well fed with delicious, wholesome food in a long time!.Thank you Nancy for being such an accommodating host, I'm already planning attending my next course just so I can visit again!

Fantastic stay
I stayed at Overtown Manor with a group of friends for a get together, taking over the whole place. It was perfect! The house and grounds are stunning, the rooms were lovely, and the kitchen had everything you could need. Nancy went above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful, but didn't intrude. The house was spotless on arrival. The location is great for exploring the countryside, but also very easy to get to by car or train. I'd highly recommend staying here!

What a wonderful B&B. A beautiful manor house, extremely comfortable en suite bedroom and for Nancy and her team nothing was too much trouble. Supper was delicious and we were spoiled for choice at breakfast the next day. Many little extras too which make all the difference.

Overtown Manor is an incredibly special place to stay - the idyllic setting, beautiful rooms, chef-prepared, sumptuous food and exceptional hospitality make this place, by far, the best venue at which I have ever run retreats. Guests leave feeling thoroughly spoiled and rejuvenated. I really can't recommend Nancy and her team highly enough!

I attended a two day training event here. I didn’t stay the night as I live close by. The venue is superb and the home cooked lunches are amazing. The home made seeded bread was the best I’ve tasted ever as far as I can remember.

I’ve just returned from a lovey 3 day stay at Overtown Manor. Was there for a course and what a lovely time I had. Nancy the host is so nice and cooked amazing home made breakfast and lunch for us, marvellous deserts, everything cooked is from scratch and many ingredients are from the garden. The manor is really nice and cosy, fabulous garden and pool. Will be definitely returning. Thank you

An incredible property, great for a large extended family - we were 14, plus 2 dogs. Nancy is a brilliant host and answers any questions very swiftly. The cooking lesson we booked with her for all the children was a huge success, and the resulting dinner was delicious. Thank you, Nancy for a wonderful week!

We stayed one night at Overtown Manor on the way from Heathrow to Cornwall - we chose it so we could visit nearby Avebury. Nancy was welcoming, charming & a most wonderful cook, using ingredients from the garden. The room we stayed in - the rookery - was lovely & the bed was excellent, as was the ensuite bathroom. The house & garden especially were also beautiful. We would have loved to have stayed for longer.

A wonderfully relaxing stay
We spent four nights at Overtown Manor in June and could not fault it. The Manor House is beautiful with 6 rooms and a well maintained gardens. Our room was light and airy with dual aspect windows and a really comfy bed. The owner Nancy is what made our stay so memorable. She welcomed us with tea and cake and from that point on we felt that we had known her for years. She was very knowledgable about the area, suggesting places of interest for us to visit or local places to eat. The breakfast that she provided was superb, with everything either locally sourced or homemade, including granola, muffins, preserves and sourdough bread. If you want to be well looked after and have a very relaxing stay, then look no further, I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Nancy couldn't have done more for me during my stay. I let her know about my dietary requirements which were fully catered for. Although I was staying over for work I felt like I'd been on holiday! Will be staying here anytime I need to work in Swindon and would absolutely recommend to people who are looking for somewhere to for leisure too.
