The person who took my call was very good. She actually diagnosed the problem from my description of events. She credited her long experience with the company. The repair was scheduled for the next day! Two minor items. The first is probably due to my hearing. I thought the quoted price “included tax”. I found out when I got home and my wife showed me the bill that tax had been added. Second, the cord attached to the manual release for the door had shredded. They did not have shock cord or any other rope to fix the situation. Fortunately, I did. Job accomplished, on time and repair continues to work.

The tech who prepared my quote and ultimately installed the garage door was top shelf. The garage door was already installed, the project was to install an electric lifter. During the quote phase, Daniel clearly described the available options. The first panel was slightly bent, a replacement bar with a weatherstrip was installed that remedied the closure gap. The installation was organized and timely to include an exterior keypad and 2 remotes. Altogether a seamless and timely execution. I would highly recommend this supplier and Daniel for their professionalism and customer service.

Garage Door broke around 11pm. Didn't know where to start and found ODCHC, What an awesome experience. By 7am the next morning I had someone calling me to schedule a time to come out to repair the door. Door was fixed before noon that day. I would highly recommend them, and if ever in need of repair in the future I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They have excellent sales reps, but beyond that their customer service is terrible. One of the doors they installed didn’t lock properly because the lock bar is too short. I place a service call 3 weeks ago and since then it’s been a series of no call no show appointments, empty promises and excuses.
Yesterday I waited for a repair tech from 10-2pm and the most frustrating thing is that no one even bothered to call to say they won’t be making it.
My follow up went unanswered, so my only recourse is to post this review in hopes that someone will see it and make changes in the way this company handles customer services issues.

I had a door installed a few months ago, the salesman I worked with done an excellent job of explaining their product and the process for installing. The technician put a dent in door while installing, hardly noticeable but he said he would order a replacement piece and contact me when it came in and would schedule a time to install. Months passed by with no contact, I wasn’t too worried about the dent but the door started making a popping noise when opening and closing. I contacted the company numerous times by email and phone but couldn’t get anyone to schedule a visit to my home to check door popping noise.
So be cautious when thinking of doing business with these folks, sales when fine, service not so much.

Garage door and opener install
From Alan the salesman to Sam the installer. Best experience ever the guys know there stuff. Highly recommend! Sam the installer was awesome went the extra mile for me. Could not be happier with Overhead Garage door company. Thank so much for being a great company in the age of not every company does what they say.

My garage door broke on Thanksgiving day, so I called Friday morning to see if they could come out and check it. Daniel came right over and said it’s your spring and said he wasn’t sure if they could fix it today. I explained my mother is in a wheelchair and the garage is the only way to get her out, if there was anyway they could I would appreciate it. Daniel said let me make my other scheduled service calls and if I can I’ll come back. Thankfully he was able to come back and get us working again this afternoon. Being a holiday weekend, Daniel went above and beyond nc I greatly appreciate it! He did a great job and was such a nice man. I highly recommend them for your garage door needs.
