I ended up going with Overhead door over Ankmar for a new install, they were more expensive than Ankmar but had more options. Install was OK, there were a couple of dents in the inside rails of my garage door. Top trim had a large gap so door wasn't sealed. Worst part was working with the billing team, I think they spelt my name wrong so I had 2 accounts. I tried explaining this to Alana but she didn't feel like listening and threatened to send me to collections even though I had already paid in full. Next time I will give Ankmar my business.
They were amazing. Mike is awesome to work with and they did great on install. Did Tom a little longer to get in then we expected. And sales rep never communicated Bernard was very complacent and never returned calls. Or text messages. But I'm house customer service was amazing and so was Mike and his crew.

The other night, when I parked my car in the garage, I noticed a problem with the door opener. I called the 24-hour number for Overhead Door and reported a non-emergency.
I received a return call before 8 the following morning. The dispatcher promised a follow-up by 9, called back by 9 and had a technician in our garage the same morning.
Not only was the unit re-mounted with stronger braces, but the whole assembly was checked, cleaned and lubricated.
The entire operation, from first call to finish, was performed in an efficient and friendly manner.

Fast service. The technician, Mike, was very knowledgeable and experienced. He replaced both springs (one of which was broken after 15 yrs of service), re-tensioned and balanced the door, and replaced the worn rollers. Tuned up the whole system. The door operates smoothly and quietly, like new.

These guys are pros and fairly priced! They came in at a MUCH lower price for the exact same work as one of their big competitors that spends tons of money on advertising. Ask to have Aaron for your job. He is prompt and works fast. And Always get multiple quotes on garage door work!!
