A previous Overhead Door spring installation was not working properly. A single spring on my south garage door had weakened and I needed to install the 2nd spring that I had in my garage. I did that myself, but the system would not balance properly. I called Overhead Door for some assistance. DeVontae showed up and proceeded to balance the system. He was knowledgeable enough to know how to set the reversing feature inside my Genie lift motor. He set the reversing level higher, and then proceeded to balance the system properly, and now my garage door functions smoothly and quietly as it should. I really appreciate the support from Overhead Door for keeping my home garage doors functioning properly. I will certainly call them in the future when I need assistance with my garage doors.

poor communication I ordered new garage doors around June 24th and was told the expected turnaround time would be 4–6 weeks. Based on that commitment, I placed the order expecting the doors to be delivered within a reasonable time frame. When I called last week to check on the progress, I was told the doors would ship on August 21st. Today, August 31st, I called again and was told the shipping date has now been pushed back to September 11th. What is especially frustrating is that I have had to call repeatedly to get updates. If there are delays, the company should be communicating with the customer rather than making the customer chase them down for information. I understand that delays can happen, but going from a promised 4–6 week time frame to potentially nearly 12 weeks is extremely disappointing. The changing dates and lack of proactive communication have completely changed my opinion of this company. Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking for new garage doors. There are too many unanswered questions, too many delays, and not enough communication. I hope they eventually deliver the doors, but at this point, I cannot say that I am satisfied with the service I have received. Christopher Vacante

Overhead was able to fix a garage door opener that another company no longer would work on. They did it quickly and it was done very cost effectively. They did not even try to sell us a new one since the repair guy said the one we had was excellent. Thank you Overhead we will be back if we ever need anything else.

Overhead Door Company installed our garage door many years ago. They once replaced a spring that went out and fully discussed how they were going to replace it and how they could replace it cost effectively and they did it in 1 day! Then the other day we noticed our siding on the inside of the garage door needed to be replaced. We called Overhead that day and Overhead was out the very next day to install the new siding. Great Job guys! I trust a company who has been around for years and years so if you need a garage door, Overhead Door Company is who we will recommend for your needs.

They never finished the job. Hardware installed incorrectly. Spring tension not right for the 16 by 12 door it won't open. Motor can't handle overloaded. Door opener burned up mother board door currently not working. Never ever use this company and definitely don't pay them in full because then they disappear. Nightmare of a install and nightmare I have to have someone else fix. They will not honor there work or warranty absolutely worthless.
