Working with Zoe at Outpost was a pleasure. Especially in comparison to other people or companies I have tried working with in NYC. Other agents or companies have tight deadlines move-in dates and they do not work with you very well, you're on their schedule, not the other way around. I understand the market is competitive & fast paced, but I dont have a number tattooed on my hand and I don't expext to be treated like I do! It's like youre the realtor and they are the client and you have to work with them and their dates. Not here! Outpost, and Zoe in particular, have been so much more accommodating. With move in dates and rooms and with responding promptly. Zoe set me up with dates and a room and location within a comfortable price range that coincide with exactly what I was looking for. If you're looking for a co-living situation to work WITH you, not against you, within your budget, Id definitely recommend Outpost.

Helpful staff with a generally short response time. Made the move to NYC easier than it otherwise would have been. Paj helped me extend my lease. It's an expensive rate, though, and they keep increasing utilities!

I've been living here for 8 months so far and have had a positive experience with the building. The best part of living here is definitely the handyman Luigi, he goes above and beyond to help with anything and everything I need in my apartment. I never have to worry that my needs/requests will be ignored or deprioritized, like in my previous 3 NY apartments. His work is so quick, detailed, always communicative. I wish I could take him with me to all my future apartments!

It’s a practical solution It’s a good option if you’ve just arrived in the city and need housing quickly without overthinking it. The application process was very easy, and I got a fast response. Since last summer, my coordinator Zoe is always very professional, which made me to sign my third contract. She is the saver of my New York experience. This platform allows to easily find an accommodation aligned with specific schedule. I appreciate for its existence. Their property and cleaning service is ok. However, their maintenance team has a huge room of improvement.

The lafayette House is just perfect for student who wants calm and good experience woth roomates. The bathroom,kitchen and the bedrooms are clean and the students here that i have met are nice. The flat corresponds to the pictures. During 2 months Evans my Outpost advisor was patient and available at any time. The building is also safe. He was also incredibly understanding of my lease takeover arrangement and helped me throughout the process. Super Convenient Neighborhood I’ve been spending a lot of time in the Upper West Side, around Columbus Ave, and overall it’s a really nice area to live in. It feels safe, clean, and much calmer compared to some other parts of the city. There are plenty of small cafes, local restaurants, and grocery stores nearby, so it’s easy to handle daily errands without going far. Being close to Central Park is a big плюс, especially if you like walking or just want some quiet time outside. Public transportation is also convenient, with a few subway lines within walking distance, so getting around the city is pretty straightforward. The only reason I’d give it 4 instead of 5 is that it can feel a bit pricey and sometimes a little too quiet if you’re looking for more nightlife. Overall, it’s a great neighborhood if you want something comfortable, safe, and well-connected.
