Scruggs BBQ stays at the top of my list every time I’m craving great food! Everything comes out fresh, flavorful, super satisfying. Portions are huge, so you leave full with extra for later, no doubt. Prices match the quality you receive, plus the crew here is always warm, polite, welcoming. A spot you can trust for a solid meal every visit!
This place was fantastic. I had puked chicken plate with potato salad and macaroni and cheese but also sampled the brisket, baked beans, and fried okra my friend ordered. It was all delicious. And the generous serving of cornbread that accompanied was also top tier. Really good food and even though it was my first time there, the service was like that of a regular customer. Which I will be as I'm already planning my next trip back.
This was our first time visiting this small local business. We were in town for a quick getaway for our anniversary at the local KOA. My wife found this place. We stopped by for lunch. I ordered the pulled pork, brisket combo plate with baked beans and macaroni n cheese. My wife got the rib sandwich which came with coleslaw on the side. All the meats were tender and moist. The side were good. I purchased extra coleslaw for the leftovers. I highly recommend this restaurant when traveling through Decatur, Alabama.
We are from memphis so we know bbq. This place is fantastic. Generous helping. The bbq was great. Best fried okra I've ever had. Mac n cheese was delicious too

This was my first time coming here and they didn’t disappoint. We got the rib plate, brisket plate, and bbq pork sandwiches. Everything was really tender and great we will definitely be back.

The brisket sandwich is delicious, and the potato salad is really good. We stop every time we go through there.
