Fabulous Iceland Adventure
Yes, the scenery was beautiful! The volcanic landscape was just amazing and the waterfalls were absolutely incredible! We learned so much from our tour guide/driver who was also very entertaining and kept everyone from getting bored on the long ride. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting Iceland, and if possible, ask for Walter to be your guide/driver- it will be money and time well spent!

Very well organised and informative tour
Stunning landscape, the early part of the tour was a bit foggy, so we didn’t see some of the glacier from the road, but that didn’t diminish the quality of the tour. Franklin was very well-informed and a lot of fun. Be prepared to be serenaded (he has a great voice)! The waterfalls, glacier, Black Beach and general scenery were stunning, the walking was reasonably untaxing, and we had a fabulous pizza with black dough base (activated charcoal gives it the colour) at The Black Pizza. We were very lucky that the weather perked up, so our photos were gorgeous. I’d recommend you take waterproof over-trousers and a good waterproof coat with a hood, so you can go round the back of seljalandsfoss, it’s well worth it, and the small truck does good tea and coffee.

How to love the rain - and learning not to hug sheep
Our tour guide for the day was Rebecca. Admittedly, it was not what we thought was an ideal day for traveling to see a glacier, two waterfalls, and the black sand beach. It was very windy and rained most of the day (sometimes raining sideway). We ended up incredibly wet (though we had pretty decent rain gear) - so much so that our shoes squished at the end of the day. However, Rebecca ensured that we came away with a very memorable and really enjoyable experience. Rebecca is not a native of Iceland. But during the drives from location to location, she shared her love of Iceland, the Icelandic people, the animals (especially the sheep and the horses) - and especially how the rain really invigorates the landscape. Through her eyes, we learned how to appreciate how the rain really made the colors of the Icelandic landscape come to life. One of Rebecca's goals in life is to hug a sheep, and even though I know that's not a good idea, I admit to being somewhat intrigued. :) Rebecca rearranged our itinerary a bit - keeping Seljalandsfoss as our last stop of the day, which made it much less crowded and allowed us to take some wonderful photos. We saw Skogafoss as one of our first stops (and climbed all the way to the top for a beautiful view) in the sideways rain. On our way to Reynisfjara (black-sand beach), she shared stories about the trolls in the sea. The entire day was full of little gems of information about everything Iceland. We came home with a much greater appreciation of everything we saw due to the great information shared by Rebecca. It's a trip we'd do again - but would hope for slightly less sideways rain next time. :)

Great tour and an amazing tour guide! The weather was not perfect and a sunny day would be a better choice for a south, especially the black beach. Nevertheless we all enjoyed the trip and our fun and knowledgeable tour guide Thanks Ævar, you deserve 5*!

Amazing Tour and Tour Guide
Amazing time on the tour, we had the best tour guide Anastasia! Make sure to bring a warm waterproof coat with a hood. And comfortable water proof shoes. Thank you for such a wonderful experience our tour guide showed us hidden gems of Iceland with the best tips, and excellent music! Thank you for the amazing chocolates!!!

Great Day touring the South Coast
Devin was great. Very knowledgeable and fun. Many interesting anecdotes about Iceland and about this South Coast area. We had plenty of time at each stop to see the sites. A great day arriving back at the port The only negative had notoriety do with Devin. The communication about the meeting point was not clear even after numerous emails back and forth with the company. We were told to go to the Ice Store. Thankfully, we saw another van pull into the port area and followed it to where the vans were loading and found our group

This was a wonderful tour. Devin, who was our driver/tour guide was simply fantastic! He was so knowledgeable and funny and got us to our spots before the crowds from other tours got there. Would highly recommend this tour!

Fabulous South Coast Tour
Galciers, waterfalls and Black Sand Beaches were wonderful. My only complaint was that the guide was a little political with his comments. I just wanted to hear about and see Iceland. I was not interested in his dislike of Donald Trump.

Wonderful day in Iceland
Franklin was one of the best guides we've ever had. We've traveled all over the world the past 20 years and had lots of tour guides and Franklin is at or near the top. Very personable young man , knowledge in Icelandic facts etc. Tour was fabulous, of course the spectacular Water falls didn't hurt ! Highly recommend Franklin and Your Day Tours.

Great tour by YourDay tours of the South Coast of Iceland.
Great trip to the south coast of Iceland, marred only by the weather - it was grey and rained quite a lot. The stops and views were, however, terrific, and our guide Anna was very good.

Our guide Siggy is very nice. He give us a a lot of information about the places to visit. The pick up is punctual. The places we visit are just stunning views. As we got to the sites a little earlier than some other large groups, we manage to see the places without too many people. We visited some extras that's not listed on the agenda which is a nice surprise. The overhead shelf is a little tight for backpacks especially when the weather is still a bit cold and windy. We got a little liquorice chocolate treat at our last stop. All in all wonderful.

A magical day! This was the best tour we had in Iceland
This was absolutely our favorite tour we took in Iceland!! The sights were all incredible, we got to do a little hiking… and our guide, Klaus was amazing. We learned a lot about every sight we visited, plus about Icelandic culture and music, volcano history and local conditions. He planned the stops perfectly for the best lighting and rainbows at the waterfalls!! It was a beautiful day, so we were very fortunate. We had a blast and got our best photos of the entire trip on our Southern coast tour. Thank you for the magic Mr Klaus! 🇮🇸✨🌈❄️

The guide made the trip awesome
The Your Day Tours guide (AEvar) made this better than expected. He personalized the trip. While traveling between spots, he told us stories and about the geothermal plants/energy, the geographical features we were passing, history, things about how children and places are named, the impact of the eruptions/tourism/ immigration, what it was like growing up in Iceland. He also played music.! Other tours you sit in silence. It was great, it was like traveling with a cousin.

Rebecca’s a legend
We had so much fun. Rebecca knew everything about everything and was really interested in sharing her experiences with us. It honestly made the trip so much more than some of us were anticipating and we loved the energy. I would definitely recommend her to others for the south coast tour.
