I had a really good experience at Oriental Rugs Dublin. I went in looking for a rug and ended up buying both a beautiful rug and a kilim. There was a great selection, with lots of different colours, patterns and styles, so it was actually quite difficult to choose! Mahmut was really helpful and patient throughout, without making me feel pressured to buy anything. He took the time to show me different options and helped me find pieces that suited my home. He was a true expertise as he took the time to explain the history and origin of each rug. Really happy with my rug and kilim and would definitely recommend having a look if you’re looking for something unique for your home. Thanks Mahmut!

I came to Oriental Rugs after seeing so many great reviews, and I’m honestly so glad I did. At first, I thought I would just have a quick look and maybe find one rug, but once I walked into the shop, I couldn’t stop looking! There is such a beautiful selection of handmade rugs in so many different colours, patterns, styles and sizes that it’s almost impossible to choose just one. I ended up finding exactly what I was looking for, and the quality of the rugs really stood out to me. You can see the craftsmanship and character in each piece, and there are so many unique options that I hadn’t seen elsewhere in Dublin. Mahmut who is an expertise helped me, and he was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole experience. He was very patient, knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about rugs. He took the time to explain the history of the different rugs, where they came from and what made each one special. He wasn’t just trying to make a sale; he really wanted me to find something that suited my taste and my home. You can tell that he is a true expert and craftsman in his field. I can’t thank you enough Mahmut! I had such a lovely experience at Oriental Rugs. The quality, variety and atmosphere of the shop were all excellent, and I’m very happy with my choice. If you’re looking for a beautiful and authentic rug in Dublin, I would definitely recommend visiting Oriental Rugs. I came here because of the reviews, so I wanted to leave one myself in case it helps someone else make their decision!

Oriental Rugs truly do have beautiful pieces. They are hand woven with natural fibers and many with vegetable pigments which makes the colours pop. The owner and curator Mahmut has gathered a collection from pre 1900s to date which needs to be seen to be appreciated. Mahmut will take you on a tour of the various countries regions as he discusses the rugs and the varied histories.

Oriental Rugs Co is a gorgeous store. The rugs are high quality and incredibly beautiful--the perfect way to bring warmth and color to a space. Mahmut was so knowledgeable and helpful in helping me find the perfect rug for my flat, and such a warm and welcoming presence when I first moved to Dublin nearly a year ago.
