Just brilliant! We have just returned from 2 nights camping. Clean facilities, great service and perfect location! We will be back!

We stayed here in July 24 in one of the cottages. The hosts were very friendly and the cottage was furnished to a high standard. The cottage was spotless and well equipped. Totally enclosed back garden and dog park out front as well as a walking track and trails just outside makes this the perfect place for dog owners. We also popped over to the campsite, which had great facilities and had a little on site shop. Would 100% recommend!

It's the 3rd time I have stayed here this year. It's a cracking site with brilliant facilities. We were allocated our pitch when we booked, but when we turned up the pitch was on a bit of a slope for us. I have to say a massive thank you to Nicola who suggested a couple alternative pitches (one was right next to ours so we moved to it). The shower and toilet block is amazing and always clean It's well worth the 50p for 10 mins to use the shower. And to say the site was full, the showers never seemed backed up with people waiting to get a shower. The pot wash area is well looked after and always has piping hot water. We booked a pizza a week before we arrived so were guaranteed our food for the time we wanted. (Pizza is only available on Saturday evening). But, they were nice and you cant beat a fresh Pizza whilst sitting out in the evening. They have WiFi coverage around the whole site. However the weekend we stayed the WiFi was down (however I can confirm the WiFi does work from previous stays). The team there are constantly on call to help with any problems which may arise, and they are all super friendly. I will be coming back again as its definitely one of our favourite camp site.

Found this little Gem by accident as me and 3 friends was out hiking and car camping for the weekend in the area but unfortunately not much in the way of wild camping spots so our second night we had a quick look wjat was in the area and found this site... I'm so happy we found it as it is a beautiful site. The lady on the phone we spoke to was really friendly and said as long as we got there before 8 we would be fine, we was only round the corner so when we got there she was so helpful and lovely and so was all the other staff there, we found that they do pizza but you need to order in the day time to have it ready for the evening, we was gutted but the lady that was making the pizzas so it's fine so doesn't mind making us some more but wouldn't be able to collect till 8:30 after everyone else had collected theirs... We was also able to buy fire wood from there which was good as we had drove everywhere trying to find more as we had ran... So sitting round the camp fire eating freshly homemade pizza was a new one for us and amazing and the pizza was just as good... The facilities there are fantastic and some of the best iv seen on a site, w had 3 small dogs and even they was catered for, there is a large enclosed dog field for them to run round and even a dog wash stations which if you've got dogs camping, you will know is just a god send. I definitely couldn't recommend this site enough... Will definitely be going back....

Amazing place only there 2 days but loved it

One of the best campsites I've stayed on. Facilities were impeccable, such friendly and helpful staff, great shop on site. The views are amazing. Little touches like plenty of picnic benches scattered around, fire pits to hire, pizzas and chips on Saturday night and bacon rolls in the morning, and not forgetting the luxurious toilet paper!!! Definitely will be returning, and highly recommend. Stayed for one night en route, but would happily stay longer.

Beautiful well kept site. Toilets are immaculate and warm. Showers are 50p for 10 minutes and well worth it. Pitches more than big enough for a tent and awning. Pizzas on a Saturday night are an added bonus. Makes a change from bbq. Well situated for walks and sights in the area.Already booked for a return next month.

Fantastic rooms. Nice quiet location. Nearest pub, which is very busy, is a 1 mile walk away.

We've stayed at this camp site over a weekend, once a year, for the past 7 years. It is a very well organised site, clean and very well managed with added benefits of a site shop which does pizza, a dog park and dog wash facilities, water stations, electric hookups and very clean and well maintained toilets and showers. There is also an option to purchase a fire pit with chopped logs and kindling, which is a very nice addition when you are camping. There are picnic tables available also which you can bring to your pitch and It is in a good location with many beautiful walks nearby. Would highly recommend.

Stayed on the campsite for the 2nd time , it's a great site with friendly staff and fantastic facilities. Location is great loads to do in the area and a nice little over walk just across the road

Just back from a weekend camping at Orcaber Farm. Beautiful location with walks, streams etc nearby and an enclosed dog run. The facilities are good, spotless toilet and shower facilities, washing up spots, waste water etc. There's even a dog wash for if the pooch gets too filthy. The shop has the basics but is v expensive (£1.65 for a pint of milk and £3 for six eggs). They do coffee and bacon sandwiches in the morning and pizzas on a Saturday night...the pizzas were OK but expensive for what they were. Sadly both nights we were there we hardly had any sleep. The first night a couple were drunkenly arguing and fist fighting. When I mentioned it next day I was advised I should have rung the night warden to deal with it and was told the couple would be asked to leave- they weren't. The next night two girls turned up and pitched a tent and then another three cars turned up later with more women in. We were then subjected to 9 hours of bad karaoke, laughing, screaming and talking really loudly until after 3am. People complained several times and the night warden came to ask them to be quiet several times and threatened to throw them out and they just laughed at him and told him they were too drunk to drive!! What would have been a pleasant weekend was completely ruined due to poor management, we weren't the only ones who weren't happy with the weekends events. What's the point of having a policy and a warden to deal with campers who cant abide by the rules, when said policy isn't implemented and warden is completely ineffectual. Awful, expensive weekend ruined by chavs- we were packed and had left by 10am so we could go home and get some actual sleep.

Just returned from a two night camp at Orcaber with my family. I cannot fault the site at all, the staff are all so friendly and welcoming, we instantly felt right at home. Nothing was too much trouble. The facilities are immaculate and very well maintained. Even my parents who visited during our stay commented on how lovely the site was and are now looking at booking a weekday break there. The scenery goes without saying, in the Dales everywhere you look there are magnificent views. We are looking forward to our next visit before the camping season ends this year.
