We had an incredibly pleasant experience working with the Primo Doors team on two projects back-to-back. The first one was for the installation of French doors inside our home leading to my wife's Fine Arts studio. The second, and main one, was for the installation of a large iron/steel double door for our home's front entrance. It needed to make a bold, modernized and elegant statement. The Primo Doors team expressed patience with us during the design consultations and our multiple iterations while providing excellent technical advice. This expertise and professionalism carried on both projects through the quote process all the way to final delivery and installation. The main entrance steel double door to the house is a work of art. It delivers on every aspect of our vision. The quality of the construction is excellent. It's a very heavy door but it rotates on its hinges as if it was on ball bearings. The seals are tight. The closing is sound and smooth with a nice sharp "click". Push it hard to close and it doesn't slam or rattle. Sound insulation is noticeably improved compared to our old door. They do not use contractors for the installation, only their own and well-trained technicians. The job site will be left clean for you when they leave after a careful final inspection. By working with Primo Doors, you support your local economy and a family-owned business that cares about your complete satisfaction rather than working with a large corporation that only cares about shareholders returns. Primo Doors will provide you a beautiful and high-quality product, at a fair price. We recommend and will work with them again without hesitation.

I've had the pleasure of speaking to Jason twice on the phone now, a few months apart each time, to troubleshoot some issues we were having with an existing door installed by our builder. He has provided clear guidance on different solutions to pursue to help resolve our issue based on his experience. The issue was straightforward and simple enough to understand immediately and provide quick, easy recommendations. They didn't bother charging an outrageous fee to come out and have a 10 minute conversation (a second company I reached out to prior was going to charge me a fairly high fee to just come out and look without taking the time to understand my questions first). I've had a really positive experience and will not hesitate reaching out to them in the future should we choose to replace any doors in our home. Based on the interactions I have, the company seems really professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for the help!

Wow - what a transformation! Jason was a pleasure to work with as was all his employees. Getting a new door isn’t a 5 minute thing, it does take several months but it’s worth the wait. We really do have a GRAND entrance to our home thanks to Primo Doors.

Nice steel door BUT their steel doors are not thermally broken, meaning it will conduct the heat during the summer in your house and during the winter bring the cold! I wish I knew this before, because this is a deal breaker. During the extreme cold days, which comes more often than before, the door will “sweet” and conduct cold to your house. I cannot recommend!

Hi Pierre, I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing some issues with condensation on your steel door. I know we have spoken several times and offered some suggestions to remedy this issue. Our steel doors are not thermally broken, but the doors and frames are poly foam filled which is sufficient for our local climate. I believe your situation is unique and not a common issue with our doors.

Primo doors did a great job of helping us select the door (we took days and had to return). The installation was delayed because we were out of town when it was shipped. The installer was on time and left the house in the same condition in which he found in. No muss, no fuss.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone in the market for iron doors or fiberglass French doors. I had four sets of French doors and an iron door installed. I had the pleasure of working with the owner Jason, the sales person Joe, installers and techs Sam, Juan and Francisco, and office staff Allison and Jazz. I have dealt with a handful of contractors and I would rank this company at the top of the list in terms of professionalism, integrity, responsiveness and quality of work. Additionally I got at least three estimates and determined that they are competitively priced. I was originally going to use another company; I’m glad fate led me to this team. I wish their scope of offerings went beyond doors because I’d hire them for every project. I’m very particular/detailed oriented and they remained patient with me the entire time. If you’re having reservations try this company out…they will put your doubts to rest.

First sales guy I tried was a little green but, seeing that the product itself is good and having received a recommendation for Primo, I reached out to the owner who was able to connect me with another representative, Joe, who was professional and able to sell me 3 doors on my first visit to the show room. When the first two doors were installed, the keys worked but they were not installed correctly so none of the other security features worked. While Primo does not guarantee the locks you buy will work, it does seem as though there were some basic details the installer missed, which resulted in the lock being physically mounted but not exactly working. In the end, Sam, who installed our 3rd door (iron) was able to fix the previous work after getting the 3rd door in. I did not have the pleasure of interacting with everyone at Primo but the products are quality. I would like to give a special shoutout to: Joe M, Sam in installation The owner These three are smart enough and socially gifted enough to steward projects into the promised land. You should ask for Joe by name.
