Happy new customer! I have a pretty high prescription and wear Progressives, so my eyeglasses can be on the expensive side even with insurance. This facility is cheaper and quicker. Dropped off prescription on a Friday evening. I received a text after 5 business days that my eyeglasses were ready for pick-up. I was told 7 - 10 business days. Dr. Weinberg and his optician were great. I will be returning next year.

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM SHOP. My mother's safety was completely disregarded by given two incorrect pairs of glasses. When we went back the next day, Dr. Weinberg accused her eyes of changing and being the problem. No refund was provided. My mother wanted to go to a different doctor and he said he wouldn't provide a prescription and he had to correct the problem. Zero customer service. He kept saying it was because they were custom glasses. All glasses are custom glasses. We were forced to go back to do another session or lose out on the money. Don't trust doctors who fault customers and not their own work. He only offered refund after he said we had to go to another doctor and bring glasses so he could see the difference. AVOID AT ALL COST

At Optical Outlet we bend over backwards for our patients, if they let us. A prescription was give after
the exam. When I asked to adjust her glasses she refused. When I asked to re-examine her she refused.
I can’t fix what I don’t know is broken. We are still willing to see if we can fix the problem if you'll let us.

Perhaps I'm a bit spoiled by my previous optometrist, but my experience here left much to be desired. It took two hours for my daughter and my exams. During my exam, he told me to look up and proceeded to remove my contact from my eye with his bare, unwashed hands! 😫. The inner scream I screampt!!! What happened to telling me to wash my hands and remove my own contacts??? I don't know what you've been doing with your hands! Then when we left, I received a call saying he forgot to get a measurement for my daughter. I asked if it was something that needed to be done right away and he said no, come in anytime. The next morning, staff called and said the measurement was needed prior to sending off for my daughter's glasses, so we went back. Then, I received a call saying he forgot to charge me for something (I paid when my daughter's glasses arrived) the transition lens on my daughter's glasses were very light... nothing like her previous pair. I went back and explained that my previous optometrist informed me that there were different levels of transition lenses and I requested a darker transition. I was told by staff that "this" optometrist only has one level and when he sends it to insurance he just requests "transition lenses" with no specification of shade. So I just took the glasses and left. I was so disappointed in my visit. I knew I would not be returning next year after he put his dirty fingers in my eye. I'm sorry, but with COVID and everything else going around, this it a hard pass for me.

Lavelle, thanks for your review, but let me make a few corrections. You are right, I didn't "wash" my hand. I used aa Vista Naps contact lens antimicrobial towelette to clean my hands, just as good or better than washing. Also, eye exams are 20-30 minutes each, eyeglass selection is another story. Sorry you felt you had a poor visit.

The front desk people are frustrating. I made an appointment and they never entered it in the system. If you feel you don't have any other options, I recommend calling a few times to verify your appointment.

Havier, thank you for your kind words. We do free adjustments on glasses bought here or elsewhere. We also offer 1 day service in most cases and allow you to bring in frames for lenses only. We also offer eye exams and contact lenses.

I had an emergency and needed glasses immediately. Not only did the receptionist go out of her way to ensure my glasses were made asap, she also went out of her way to help me pick out the frames that were SUPER affordable. Optical Outlet is the BEST. My son just bought his glasses from there as well.

Tracy, thank you for your kind review. We have one day service on most eyeglass prescriptions. If possible we will use your own frame. We also do eye exams and contact lenses. Adjustments are always free.

Their systems are old and outdated but the building and staff are very nice. I got an exam and my glasses were significantly worse than my normal eyesight so I had to go back in. I doubt this next pair will be any better.

I went in today being jan 15, 2021 and received the same great customer service on the phone and in person ! Dominique & Keisha are very helpful and pleasant! I highly recommend this optometrist ! I have had my eyes checked there several times over the yrs and have been in many times over the yrs 2 have glasses adjusted , screws tightened and the cust serv is always great on the phone and / or in person !!!! I went in today to have glasses adjusted and the receptionist / technician were very friendly ! 🤗🤗👍👍
