We recently had an appointment at One Medicine with Dr Ahmed and Professor Khan (cardiologist).
From the moment we met them, both doctors were exceptional. They were calm, professional, thorough, and incredibly compassionate. My husband had been experiencing intermittent chest pain (seen and discharged by a&e), and understandably we were both very anxious. Dr Ahmed and Professor Khan took their time to listen carefully, explain everything clearly, and reassure us in a way that genuinely put us at ease.
Their attention to detail and clinical expertise were outstanding, but what truly stood out was their kindness and empathy. They did not rush us, they answered every question patiently, and they made us feel supported during a very frightening time.
We feel extremely fortunate to have been under their care and now my husband is being managed by them. They are a real credit to One Medicine and to the profession as a whole.
Before making the appointment, I was so anxious as i wanted a second opinion for my husbands symptoms and wanted to get an urgent appointment. After speaking to Dr Ahmed on the phone, we were able to get an appointment arranged within less than 24 hours.
