Every appointment had different staff who all seem rushed, and not to have any idea what happened previously. Even the doctor said things like ‘you’ve had this surgery before’ (which was definitely not the case and did not build confidence).
I had a surgery on a Thursday and by Sunday it was clear that something was wrong over the weekend. There was so much pain and swelling and the surgical site visibly seemed to show all signs of a failed graft. While the doctor took my call, he was relatively dismissive, assuring me that everything was normal and stating that the site could not be infected because of the antibiotic, despite all signs to the contrary.
Unsurprisingly, the graft was failing and ultimately fell off the following week.
For the out of pocket cost of over $2,000 I would have expected a much higher standard of service and care.
The image of the response to an email - sent on the 10th - noting that the implant had failed. Every website says to go in immediately, but this doc? Nah. See you in two weeks, maybe 🙄 posted in response to the clearly disingenuous ‘please contact us’ comment from OMG - which came after this cringeworthy response from the doctor.
