What a brilliant little restaurant. The staff were attentive, without being annoying and the food was so tasty. The atmosphere was buzzing - just what you need on a Saturday night.
We've been to Bath many, many times but not eaten here - we will be back.

My partner and I dined at Olé in early December and I can't recommend it enough if you're visiting Bath. The atmosphere was so cosy, the staff were incredible and the food was to die for! I'm still dreaming of the chorizo al vino... I hope to visit again soon :)

Food was good. Waitress was awesome. My wife spilt chocolate all over herself and she was there to assist with water and a cloth. Very generous as well.

We had lunch here and it was fabulous in every way food was excellent and service was very welcoming and we would definitely come back again and would highly recommend eating here

Me and my partner decided to take a last minute trip to bath for NYE for our anniversary and as expected couldn’t get in anywhere, however this was until we called Olè and they very kindly managed to squeeze us in last minute. on Arrival our lovely waiter Ned offered us a free glass of Prosecco for our anniversary after over hearing our conversation about it, we ordered and the food was delicious and very reasonable priced. The food Came out very quickly and tasted incredible. As we were squeezed in our table was needed after an hour or so, so Ned very kindly accommodated us a couple of seats at the bar, not only was he super friendly and chatty, he then gave us some olives whilst we were sat chatting. Honestly I can not fault this lovely little tapas place, food was amazing, atmosphere lovely and the staff even better! If we return to bath we will be returning here, we also will be recommending Olé tapas to everyone! Thank you so much for a lovely evening at Olè and a huge shout out to the fantastic Ned!

The door is extremely good and a good atmosphere with warm friendly staff.
A very small place so booking is recommended. Also up some steep stairs so not advisable for anyone with mobility difficulties.

Insane prices for very small portions:
Went with my boyfriend on a Tuesday night in November and it was the first time we came to Bath (we are both students). The place had good reviews so we decided to give a shot. Quality of food is good but the food is EXTREMELY OVERPRICED for the amount of food we got. Portions are extremely small. The taster plate had the equivalent of 1 slice of ham for 7 pounds. The prawns tapa was 12 pound for five very small prawns. The place is very small and kind of cramped. So I’m not sure how these prices are justified. I didn’t want to ruin my trip so I didn’t complain but it’s not cool at all.
Nevertheless, if you don’t mind paying insane prices for small portions or if you want to come here for a special occasion, I guess it’s fine. But I would not come here again unless they change the portion sizes. It’s kind of sad because the quality of food is good. But I felt like was being scammed. We paid 72 pounds (including drinks) and were still hungry afterwards.
Edit: I see that the snarky manager has responded to the review and I struck a nerve. Instead of accepting the criticism, their attitude is accusatory. I am honest with reviews of the places I go to.
Some of my reviews of restaurants show that the quality and price are good and appropriate. Others places I go to the quality is not great and I am honest about which many people appreciate it. I clearly said the quality of food in this restaurant was good just insanely, overpriced for the quantity. So it felt scammy.
I stand by my review and with this kind of attitude by the owner where they don’t admit their mistakes and would rather be rude to customers shows they don’t really care about their customers. Thanks for showing your true colors.
So there you have it: insane prices for small quantity and RUDE owner.
I will not give praise to people, quality and service that do not deserve it. You want 5 stars? Then you must do better.
I had given the place 3 stars because I thought it was fair. But after the terrible response from the owner/manager, it has now been downgraded to 1 star.

A really cute spot in Bath. The food was amazing and the staff were so helpful in pointing towards good options. The atmosphere was great as well I couldn't believe how tucked away it was it feels the more special when you eat there as though you have discovered a small slice of Spain in Bath. It almost felt like stumbling into a secret, an authentic Spanish person kicther and dining room.
The staff were amazing as well the young lady was so friendly and kind to me and my friend and the other young man there was lovely too. I had to tip extra because of it.
I couldn't recommend this place any more simply joyful :)

Visited for a romantic dinner - but sadly it was very lack lustre. Immediately sat down at 7pm on a Saturday night to pitbull (??) playing rather loud on a table that was very crammed and in extremely close proximity to other people.
We stayed as we had paid £20 deposit in order to reserve a table (?!), but honestly if it wasn’t for this we would have left.
The food was very mediocre. The iberico pork was very dry and came sliced on a plate with no finesse - no drizzles, oil, garnish etc. Patatas bravas blew our socks off. Meatballs were fine - nothing ground breaking. Leek was very disappointing and you couldn’t cut through it - this was kindly removed from the bill. Fried aubergine was fine but nothing that great.
We ordered in total roughly 7 tapas - and on top of the food not being that special, the atmosphere was just a true letdown.
Unfortunately I would not recommend to a friend.

We have to agree with you that a Tapas Bar is not the right setting for a romantic dinner, even though we regularly celebrate anniversaries, having even some very special guests whom had their proposals in Ole, couples who had their first date with us, we still understand that we are not for the taste of everybody.
Just a note saying “romantic dinner” at the time of making the reservation would have been helpful.
If you had communicated your discomfort with the venue, or the iberico pork, we would have acted in the exact same way as when you informed us about your disappointment with the leek.

Un rincón de España en Bath. La mejor comida española que he probado fuera de mi tierra.
Un auténtico rincón de España en el corazón de Bath. Precioso bar de tapas situado en un primer piso en la hermosa ciudad de Bath. La atención fue fabtastica desde que entramos hasta que nos fuimos. Y la comida… mejor incluso que en muchos lugares de España. Recomiendo el pollo asado, el chorizo criollo y las patatas bravas, bien picantes pero sabrosas. Las berengeneas y las espinacas con garbanzos también son una muy buena opción. Buen ambiente, buena música, buen servicio, y la mejor comida española que he probado en Bath. Que más se puede pedir?

We arrived to be told there was a problem.the kitchen was closed. They had contacted us twice during the day to confirm and then less than 2 hours before our booking with a stupid flamanco dancer emoji. But apparently could not let us know there was no food. And not so much as a complimentary drink to apologise and the server was very offhand.
