I’ve been there three times and every time a different bowl. Each has been great, great flavors, great presentation. It’s quickly becoming a regular go-to for lunch. If you go, try one of the specialty lemonades.

Delicious! I had the lamb fufu with Nina's peanut butter sauce and it was out of this world. I'm a picky "fru fru" eater with a fussy stomach, so this is no small deal! The fufu was comforting, the PB sauce was so creamy yet savory and the lamb was tender. I wish I could eat here every day.
I'm going to redo this review. 1st time I gave 5 stars based on the fact it's a black owned restaurant, however, let me just be transparent. The 1st time I came the owner didn't go out of her way to be energetic and pleasant, or exceptionally nice like she was with a Latina woman who came in after me. Also, today, my 2nd visit, someone else took my order and he was nice, but she saw me and said absolutely nothing. Didn't say, hello (nor a thank you have a good evening when I was leaving), didn't ask how the food was, if I needed anything else, nothing. The food IMO, is mediocre. I've had much better Senegalese food...and then they have the nerve to charge .50 for a tiny cup of hot sauce if you want a 2nd one. Why not just give a larger container or have a bottle for customers? It's really unsettling when black ppl, and African ppl mistreat / discriminate you, especially, when patronizing their business. I won't be back. I shouldn't have come back today, but this was the only place close and I didn't want Red Lobster or fast food.

My friend and I had been dying to try fufu and it did not disappoint. Not only was the food AMAZING but Nina was an absolute angel and made the experience even better. She shared her story with us and was extremely friendly and welcoming. I would recommend okra to anyone, especially those who are new to the food.
We got the lamb egusi fufu 💯
Tip: don’t skip on the lemonades, they were delicious.

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch while waiting for our hotel check in time. Since I have no appetite due to health, we shared a lamb bowl; it was incredible! Full of flavor, everything was cooked to the perfect texture. The lamb was tender and delicious, too
The lemonades are fantastic--highly recommend!
We got some beignets to go, and they were a perfect end to the meal. Warm, sweet, lovely crisp outside and fluffy inside. 10/10 for everything
