Exceptional Experience with Ohana Doodles Texas! As a first-time puppy mom, I can honestly say my experience with Heather, CEO of Ohana Doodles, has been absolutely amazing. What impressed me most was that our relationship and communication began long before I ever made a payment. I first reached out to Heather in March just to ask questions, and she was kind enough to schedule a FaceTime call to walk me through her process. She never pressured me—just encouraged me to take my time and follow her updates until I was ready. Heather’s communication and professionalism are unmatched. Every question I had—no matter how small—was answered with care and detail. Even after I placed my deposit, she kept in touch constantly with updates, photos, videos, and information about the puppies’ growth and training. She also created a group chat for all the puppy families, which made the journey even more special and connected. When I brought Phoenix home, he was already crate trained and had an incredible head start on potty training—something that meant the world to me as a new puppy mom. Heather provided me with everything I needed: food recommendations, training tips, and genuine support every step of the way. I spoke with 10 breeders before finding Heather, and none compared to her kindness, transparency, and dedication. She doesn’t just breed puppies—she builds families. We had a great experience with Ohana Doodles and Heather! Right from when our puppy was born - Heather kept sending us photos/videos on how she is doing. She is always there for any questions. Also, she does thorough health testing which made us feel very comfortable as first time pet parents! Very grateful for Heather to guide us along each step and for our puppy! Highly recommend to anyone looking to get a Golden doodle!

I have purchased two puppies from Heather. We have had several dogs prior to these as these are always our fur babies since we couldn’t have children. These puppies were crate trained when we picked them up at 8 and 11 weeks old. Ella (11 week when we picked her up. Has been trained and she is super smart. We use her as our Emotional Support and she goes everywhere with us. Never makes a sound and loves everyone that ask to pet her. We just received Chloe (8 week) when we picked her up. She has always slept in her crate since the day we got her no problem. Potty training for both puppies has been super simple. Heather and her family spends so much time working with these puppies you can definitely tell. They are super smart and very friendly. We couldn’t be happier. The only issue is we have two and wish we could have more.

We highly recommend Heather at Ohana Doodles. She is incredibly compassionate with both her puppies and the families adopting them. Before going home the puppies are well on their way with crate training, potty training, and noise desensitization, which makes a big difference. It's very clear how much time, care, and dedication she puts into raising well prepared puppies. Heather is extremely knowledgeable and always available to answer questions before and after adoption. These puppies are her babies and she truly goes above and beyond to prepare her puppies for their new homes and it shows in every part of the process. We couldn't recommend Heather and Ohana Doodles more highly!

My husband and I were waiting for just the right time to bring a puppy into our home to join us and our twin boys. I'm so thankful we not only got the timing right, but hit a grand slam with the breeder as well! Heather of Ohana Doodles Texas made the process so smooth, from answering our initial questions, to introducing us to the her beautiful mother-to-be, brood female over FaceTime, to sending updates a-plenty before and after our litter was born. I was a bit nervous that we were third on the list for our chosen litter, especially with a small litter of three puppies. Would we receive the puppy just right for us or "miss out" and have to wait longer? Heather's reassurance that she's never had a disappointed family with choosing or receiving their puppy put me at ease. I cannot describe the joy and excitement we felt on meet-up day when she revealed we were getting Tucker (formerly Rowan)! He's been a perfect addition to our family. Once we got home, my sons happily declared "now we're a family of five!" We've been blessed with quick bonding, lots of snuggles and kisses and plenty of happy puppy play. Heather works hard with her puppies to begin potty training, crate training and socialization (think sound exposure and lots of fun toys, surfaces and smells to be exposed to) before Got' cha Day, making the transition home easier. At 9 weeks old, he's waking up once a night before being wide-eyed and bushy-tailed to start his day with me. Beyond the sweetness of bringing home a new puppy, I've been especially impressed with Heather's dedication to be available to her families not only during the puppies' time with the mother and litter mates, but after going home as well. She's amazingly responsive, knowledgeable, and has directed us to other resources to supplement her expertise and for our at-home benefit. You've arrived. Save yourself the decision fatigue and mental load of scrolling through endless choices of breeders. Go with Ohana Doodles of Texas. You will not be disappointed!

I knew after my first conversation with Heather from Ohana Doodles that I was on my way to finding my dream puppy! Heather is a responsible breeder that takes the genetic pairing of her parent dogs very seriously. She is committed to the long term health of puppies born in her care. The Ohana Doodle puppy program includes sound desensitization, early potty & crate training, and having her family members help by handling the pups. Heather is so good about keeping puppy parents-to-be in the loop with updates and photos as the pups grow while in her care. Heather has been amazing! She truly cares about her parent dogs and puppies. She gives frequent updates on the health and progress of the puppies. Plus lots of pictures and videos. We heard from her at least once a week. She's fair with the puppy selection process and allowed us to visit the puppies prior to selection (some breeders only allow remote video). Heather is flexible with delivery when it's time for the gotcha day. No complaints - everything went perfectly.

I am so happy I found Heather! She came highly recommended by my best friend, Jessica. I recently lost my little Laila Bug in March. Laila was 16.5 years old (yorkie) and left a big hole in our hearts and our home. Heather answered all questions and was so responsive and helpful. She matched us with "Trapper", now Theodore and he's perfect for us! He came home already very socialized and has been the best boy! We are over the moon and grateful for Ohana Doodles and Heather! We used an Ohana doodles stud (Kai) the interactions were pleasant. Timing was prompt. They use a good reproduction vet and when my females numbers jumped quickly she set up the appointment and met us within hours to do a side by side. We were very pleased with our experience & can’t wait to meet our puppies. Stud was also groomed and well kept with a lovely temperament. Thank you!

Heather was absolutely amazing to work with. It was very important to my family that our dog have certain genetic predispositions to reduce the risk of allergies. Heather understood and helped us to investigate these issues. Skylar Rose - our beautiful pup - is the talk of the town. Not a day goes by that people don’t ask where we got her. Recently and unexpectedly we lost our Labradoodle. We wanted to replace her with another puppy. This time, we wanted an all black mini doodle by the grace of God we found an all black one from Ohana doodles. We spoke with Heather on Sunday and Tuesday afternoon. She and Ella, our new black mini doodle, flew from Texas to Philadelphia. We are totally amazed at how well the personality of this puppy was, as well as the great job that Heather and her family did as a breeder of any doodles. I can’t say thank you enough for the great job that she did and the great personality that this dog has we’ve now had her for a couple of weeks, and she’s doing phenomenal !!!!! So this is my 11th dog in 37 years. I would highly recommend Ohana doodles, and Heather is an unbelievable breeder to buy a dog from !! Thank you.
