Great local FFL with knowledgeable and most importantly approachable / friendly staff. It is easier than it ever has been to be an informed consumer but always good to talk shop. Some retailer staff can be unfriendly and you will not find that at Oakland Tactical. Very happy to see the renewed efforts to make Oakland Tactical a success. Plus they carry some pretty cool guns and a ton of silencers.
I had a used Sb tactical pistol brace and in order to install it I needed a special tool too successfully complete the installation. The guys at Oakland Tactical were happy to help me out with the installation and were very helpful with any questions and concerns I had. I picked up some cleaning supplies when I was there, and will be returning there for any future firearm needs and purchases!
I called them to see if a rather difficult to find pistol site was available. The not only had it but spent as much time as needed explaining how it worked and installed it for me.

Do NOT do business with them. I had multiple items on consignment with previous ownership. An item of mine sold during the transition (supposedly) and the check bounced. It has been over 8 months and I have yet to receive any sort of compensation or worthy trade offer from the new owner. Absolutely horrible experience and I am out a decent amount of money.
