I was in so much low back pain for really long time seeing many doctors, therapists without any relief. I was referred to Dr.Brosgol from my PCP . Several high skilled injections, physical therapy and dry needling at nydnrehab excellent team completely eliminated my low back pain. The integrated approach these guys use is very holistic. On top of that they are caring and very attentive people.

Dr. Kalika and the NYDN team are simply amazing. They genuinely changed my life. From the care, to the in-depth explanations and taking time for each patient to the exceptional admin the whole team is fantastic at every level. I get excellent health care, enjoy good conversation and always learn something new. I love that everyone is an amazing specialist in their own right but work together for holistic results. I have had excellent experiences with shockwave and PRP on my knee arthritis and some shoulder injuries. I went from barely being able to walk to hiking again in less than a year. So thankful for their support and expertise. Scheduling is also very easy, you can call and speak with a real and always lovely human, there’s very rarely a wait, and you don’t feel rushed!

Before seeing Dr. Kalika for my hip labral tear, I had already seen multiple orthopedic specialists, spent over six months in grueling physical therapy, and even received a cortisone shot - yet I still had days where I struggled to walk for more than 10 minutes without pain. My right hip would frequently lock up, and even driving would aggravate the condition. It had started to significantly affect my everyday life. Within three months of seeing Dr. Kalika and working with his incredible team, I no longer think constantly about my hip, which I didn’t think was impossible before. The experience was completely different. Dr. Kalika took a holistic approach, carefully evaluating my condition, clearly explaining what was happening, and focusing on solving the root causes rather than just treating the symptoms. Dr. Kalika has built an outstanding team. Dr. Brosgol is kind and puts me at ease during his precision injection procedures. My physical therapy experience with Mike has been night and day compared to what I did before. He is careful not to strain or aggravate the hip, and the therapy feels easier and more effective rather than grueling like my previous PT. Dr. Kalika and everyone who works with him is wonderful. I have been going to him for a few months and have seen improvement in some chronic issues i’ve been having including ankle instability and achilles issues . He has many different treatment options and his use of ultrasound makes it very easy to understand what is actually causing issues .

Running pain I didn’t plan on writing a review, but after what nydnrehab did for my runner’s knee, it would feel wrong not to. I’ve been running for years and thought knee pain was just “part of the sport” until it got so bad I couldn’t even jog for 5 minutes. A friend from my running group kept telling me to check out nydnrehab. Best decision I’ve made in a long time. They actually explained why my knee was acting up, and built a plan that made sense for my body not a generic one-size-fits-all thing. I’m back to running pain-free and way smarter about how I train now. Wish I had gone sooner.

Dr.Kalika and his team are absolutely incredible. I had chronic pain, neck spasms, and severe migraines for over 7 years following a major car accident. I saw so many doctors, specialist, and physical therapists who all consistently misdiagnosed me or even told me that my pain was “all in my head”. At NYDN Rehab, the team was able to pinpoint my pain and fix so many issues that I had that I didn’t realize were related to my chronic pain. My life has completely changed after my treatment and I’m almost entirely pain-free for the first time in almost a decade. Dr. Kalika and his team are amazing! I was unable to walk for more than 10 mins and spent months going to other doctors who could not figure out what was wrong. After one appointment with Dr. Kalika he was able to diagnose my nerve injury and after a quick procedure with him, I can finally walk again!

I love diagnosing nerve entrapments . They are usually under-diagnosed as it requires astute skills, high resolution ultrasound machine, detailed knowledge of anatomy , experience and a little bit of passion:)
Nothing is more rewarding as to solve a puzzle and cure the patient with one ultrasound guided procedure. Dr. Borsgol has amazing hands!

Tech Based Approach Had ACL surgery last year and rehab elsewhere just wasn’t cutting it. My surgeon actually mentioned Dr. Kalika’s clinic for their tech-based approach. We’ve been doing EMTT, Kineo strength testing, and INDIBA (hope I got that right). I’m writing this because for the first time my knee feels stronger than pre-injury, not just 'okay'. If anyone’s post-op and frustrated with slow progress – this place is worth it. Not cheap, but worth it.

My passion is hiking the peaks of the northeast, pushing my limits and enjoying the mountains with my hiking buddies. So it was a sad situation when I found myself with a severe foot injury which put me on the sidelines for several months. Initial treatment with a podiatrist, x-rays and MRI, and multiple PT doctors were not getting me anywhere and just walking around town remained a painful, hobbling experience.I didn’t think that they had the diagnosis right. I was fortunate to find Dr. Lev Kalika and his innovative practice using all the latest technologies. During an initial hour long evaluation using his high-resolution diagnostic ultrasound setup, Dr. Kalika was able to identify the severe plantar fasciitis and multiple soft tissue tears in my foot and recommend a customized treatment plan based on extracorporeal shock wave therapy. Once a week for seven weeks, Dr Kalika used his three different shock wave treatment devices, pinpointing the treatments using the high-resolution ultrasound. I had achieved a 90-95% pain free condition under his care. At this point, I began seeing Daniella who guided me through a physical therapy program to get me back to full function. Daniella’s patient and no-nonsense approach has gotten me back into the mountains that I love. I feel so fortunate to have found the incredible caring team at NYDNRehab that have done wonders for me.

If you lose hope because of the constant pain, this clinic is the place where you can get back your normal life and return to your well being. I even can’t count all the multiple manipulations and techniques that the doctors of the clinic did specially for me and it worked so well that I forgot my many years of suffering from back and joint pain. I can now avoid surgery, something I thought was inevitable. I’m beyond grateful to the entire team.

Gait rehab Came in for gait rehab and tried neuromuscular therapy. The techniques were pretty advanced and actually helped. Everyone at the office was nice, just had a hard time getting someone on the phone a couple of times. Overall, a good experience.

Was visiting NYC and hurt my ankle walking way too much 😩 Found this clinic online and figured I’d try it. The therapy itself was solid, Dr. Kalika knows his stuff. But ngl, getting there was stressful. Google Maps sent me in circles and there’s no easy parking unless you wanna pay $$$. If you’re not local, just be ready for the hassle.

I went into Dr. Lev Kalikas office 2 months ago with horrible nerve pain in three different places on my right leg. No other doctor took the time to extensively sonogram all of my nerves to find the issues like he did. Once he knew what the issues were, we scheduled hyrdra dissection with him and dr. Brosgol to free the untrapped nerves. 2 weeks from the procedure and im almost completely pain free. Highly recommend you go to him! He brought me back to life!

Dr.Kalika has been highly recommended by my cousin who speaks greatly of him. I had two PRP injections and multiple different physical therapist but my shoulder was not getting any better. Dr. Kalika is a very experienced clinician with great clinical and imaging skills. He did image my shoulder blade and diagnosed me with scapular instability, which was primary to a small rotator cuff tear that everyone was focusing on. Then, Dr.Kalika performed some high-tech 3D analysis of my shoulder blade. He then treated me with different shockwaves and sent me to his PT Michael, who only focused on training my ribs and shoulder blade. It's been four months and I am back to the gym lifting weights. Definitely give them a try if you have chronic shoulder pain.
