NYC Stem has been an incredible resource for us. We started partnering with them for the education of our boys coming out of the pandemic and enjoyed varied classes and tutors at different times for different purposes. Rukmini is passionate, direct, and committed and that support for children is reflected throughout the entire team. Most recently, we couldn’t have asked for more in the kids’ ISEE and SHSAT results. As/more importantly, we are grateful that they found caring role models and mentors who are key players in their whole lives.

I have heard about NYC Stem for years, always positive reviews. But, I was truly blown away by Rukmani and her team of tutors during SHSAT prep for my 8th grader. They are excellent at breaking down very dense and confusing material, and keeping kids motivated for the long haul.They also take their time in assessing each child’s progress to provide their recommendations on what the child needs to get into his/her high school of choice. It works! We were thrilled on the March 7th that my child got into his first choice of specialized NYC high schools!

We would not have dared navigate the complex landscape of NYC high school admissions without Rukmini and her team. With her staff's dedication and coaching, my 8th grade son was just accepted into his top choice high school (Stuyvesant). We are very lucky to have discovered NYC STEM Club when he was in the 4th grade. Though the center has grown so much in offerings, enrollees, and teachers during this time, their personalized approach to each student's strengths and areas of improvement has stayed the same. Our daughter had a fantastic experience preparing for the SHSAT with NYC Stem Club. The teachers were supportive and encouraging; our daughter attended the classes and completed the homework willingly and even enthusiastically; and when the time came to take the real test, she felt confident and prepared. She ultimately scored higher on the official test than on her practice tests and was admitted to her top choice specialized high school. We are very thankful to Rukmani and her staff for the excellent preparation and wholeheartedly recommend this program to other families.

Rukmini and team are the best! I’m so grateful we found them. They are highly professional and skilled teachers who care deeply about their students. They were instrumental in ensuring my son scored into Brooklyn Tech. The team works with both our kids, they are the best!!! Strongly recommend!!

My daughter had a good experience at STEM club. The director took a personal interest during enrolment and she is very knowledgeable about the nyc school system. The area is very each to reach by subway and facilities are clean and well organised. Material is high quality as well. My daughter is very shy, but had a positive experience. Only feedback would be to keep parents posted weekly if possible, even with a quick summary and areas to focus so we can partner with the child. My daughter got into her top choice for specialised high schools and huge shout out to NYC stem club for their support and materials.

The team at NYC STEM CLUB are incredible. Their analytic approach pinpointed my daughter’s opportunities for improvement and their classes made the work fun. One of the best tutoring experiences we have had and the results were impressive with offers from a Specialized High School as well as her 1st choice Private school. In a word, Amazing!

Rukmani and her team are just top notch. We got the SHS school of first choice, and 3 of 4 top Private school offers, including our first choice, and an all girls school that only admitted 9 this year. My daughter absolutely loved her instructors at STEM, and looked forward to their sessions together.

Navigating through the extremely competitive admission process of independent schools can be very challenging and often very overwhelming both for the child and the parents. We are incredibly grateful to NYC STEM Club for guiding us through this process – We were entering the admission process very late and stressed about how much we had to do in under 6 weeks. After speaking with Rukmini, we got the right direction to steer through the admission process. Extremely knowledgeable about the ISEE exam and the admission process, we felt supported end-to-end. Rukmini is very passionate towards supporting the kids succeed in getting accepted at the school of their choice. NYC Stem club has been instrumental in my daughter’s academic success. They have been supporting my daughter academically since the second grade. I would like to share our experience with STEM. We approached Rukmani for our elder Son Himmat for ISEE prep and private school admissions in Sept, 2023. There was very little time left in the admissions cycle to prepare for school admissions and the standardized test. Rukmani and her staff not only accommodated & adjusted the schedule for instruction but also worked tirelessly to get our Boy ready for testing in little over 8 weeks. Simply amazing as the results are outstanding. Himmat got selected in 5 out of 9 schools with 2 waitlists. I would unequivocally recommend with the highest conviction STEM to aspiring students, who want to get into top competitive private school in NYC. My wife and I would like to give a huge shout out to NYC Stem Club. The experts at NYC Stem Club helped my son master each step of the college essay writing process and learn to craft a memorable submission that stood the test of admission counselors. Rukmini and Grace took the time to sit with my son and listen to what he wanted to write in his essay. Grace was grace personified as she gently nudged my son into penning his ideas, taking the time to go in-depth into each one and crafting that in his essay. The dedication in this process was mind blowing. He learned to conceptualize, refine and edit his essays to stand out amongst very noteworthy students applying for colleges. Both Rukmini and Grace are dedicated and know exactly what colleges want to see in an essay and they have the unique talent of bringing the best out of kids' essay. With NYC Stem's guidance my son got accepted into all the 10 colleges that he applied to, and we are forever grateful to them.
