If you're looking for a wedding dress you have to come to New York Bride and Groom! You get to look around the whole store and pick the dresses you want try on and no appointments necessary. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was me and the amazing consultant. They know what they are doing. They really make you feel like the most beautiful bride and you can take your time. I never felt rushed or pushed one way or another. I highly recommend them! The owner is fabulous!

I purchased my wedding gown from New York Bride & Groom of Raleigh, and I could not have had a better experience! I knew I wanted a simple, timeless dress, but I was not sure what style or silhouette would suit me best. Their selection is incredible, and I loved being able to browse and try on a wide variety of gowns. Julie, the manager, was absolutely fantastic. She quickly picked up on my style, pulled additional dresses that matched what I was looking for, and used her expertise to help me find the most flattering fit. The entire process felt fun, easy, and stress-free. I found my dress and would 100% recommend Julie and New York Bride & Groom.

Found my dress here and had the most fabulous experience. Sarah was so kind and helpful and actually picked out the dress I ended up saying “yes” to. The owner and staff were all so supportive and kind as well. Not to mention they give you a gift card for your groom and free storage and vail with purchase. Would highly recommend NYC Bride and Groom!

Unfortunately found this experience to be fairly frustrating. The initial experience is great, the consultants are helpful and not pushy. No appts needed and you can try on as many dresses as you want. I was able to call and order my dress over the phone at a later date after having some time to think about it. I wanted to add buttons down the back so we had to calculate how many buttons I needed to order from the designer so they match my dress. I did the math and told them how many buttons I wanted based on the length of the train, and there was quite a bit of back and forth on them disagreeing with my math, which after many explanations, they concluded my math was right but the tone of the stylist got pretty condescending toward me before they realized their math was incorrect, The dress also ended up being significantly more expensive than advertised. The store can’t help fees and tariffs from designers but there should be more transparency up front about these as my dress was double the cost. I used their recommended in-house seamstress, which I believe they have now parted ways with, and would not recommend using them. They were insanely expensive compared to other local seamstresses and I had MANY issues with them making adjustments that they said they wouldn’t do. The store also handled payments for the seamstress and every time I went in, they claimed I still owed them for things that I had already paid for and had on my receipts as paid. I had 5 total fittings due to all the issues I had. As an out of town bride, this took MONTHS and lots of unplanned trips. I won’t go in to more details on what all went wrong but please shop around to other seamstresses as my dress ended up looking way different than it was supposed to after they tried to fix all the things that were done wrong.

Absolutely amazing! Went to another bridal shop before this and didn't receive even half of what I did at NYBG. Te-Oja (definitely not spelled correctly) was my stylist and was such a joy to work with. She showed so much excitement and insight on what I was envisioning. She was so attentive and helped me narrow down choices. She kept me on track to help me not get overwhelmed. She was my biggest hype woman and made the day so much brighter. The dress selection is amazing and pricing was so reasonable for what you were getting. The free veil and storage/pressing is also a nice touch. 1000/10 would recommend and wish I came here first. Cannot wait to go back to decide on my final dress!!

I had an amazing experience here! I worked with Te-ojah and she was fantastic! I highly recommend working with her if you can. Not having a time limit made the experience amazing and I ended up finding my dress (after a full day of unsuccessful searching the weekend before)! The setups of the rooms are also really nice because you can try on dresses in private but you also can stay connected to the guests you have with you because you all are in one space. I highly highly recommend looking for your wedding dress here. The selection of dresses is also unmatched

I went to 5-6 stores and I knew when I walked in this was where I would find my dress. They have a large selection, so I was able to try on several dresses and narrow it down. Bree was so helpful!! She helped me in and out of all the dresses, buttoned and unbuttoned them. It meant so much to me to feel comfortable as I picked my dress. Again, Bree was incredible! I really appreciate her help. I also loved doing my alterations in house. It was one less thing I had to worry about before the wedding. I highly recommend NY Bride & Groom of Raleigh!!
