Best experience playing here the employees are super nice and sometimes join the games and make it so much better. I would definitely recommend to come with family and friends. Coolest experience ever 10/10 without a doubt.

I want to explain my perspective about the November 4th visit to Nxgn Arena because it was my older brother's birthday celebration day. The group consisted of six high school students who had reserved their spot at Nxgn Arena through advance payment on October 24. The group arrived at the venue to play laser tag while enjoying their time together.
Sabahete Y entered the facility with her children who seemed to be between 7 and 12 years old when we arrived. She immediately became angry after spotting us because she demanded the owner to stop our game access. The game system operated through team randomization which made it impossible for her children to face direct competition against us.
The staff members along with the owner maintained complete composure while showing absolute respect to everyone. The staff members at Nxgn explained that their arena operates as a public space which welcomes all visitors yet they provided her with multiple alternatives to res. The owner provided her sister with a full refund when she returned to request it.
The way shechedule or request a refund. She created a public disturbance by arguing loudly before she departed from the location treated me personally during that encounter became the main source of my frustration. I asked her about the problem but she responded by saying "I legally cannot speak to you" while making me feel inferior because of my age. She made racial comments by calling us "adult men" and "intimidating" even though we were all minors celebrating a birthday.
The entire day became ruined for her children because she failed to find a peaceful solution to the situation. The staff members maintained complete professionalism throughout the entire experience by showing patience and delivering excellent service.
We continued our games after she departed and spent the rest of our time at the arena having an excellent time. I have visited Nxgn multiple times and the experience has always been positive with no issues. The age range of my game partners has included children and teenagers without any negative experiences.
The review from Sabahete Y should not influence your decision about Nxgn Arena. The staff members at Nxgn Arena work hard to create an excellent experience but Sabahete Y presents an incorrect account of events. The facility provides a secure environment for people to spend time with their loved ones so I strongly advise visitors to choose it for their activities. I will definitely return to this location. 10/10!!!🙌⭐

I want to share what actually happened during the situation mentioned in Sabahete Y’s review. I went to Nxgn Arena on November 4 with my friends (six of us total) to celebrate my birthday. I had made and paid for our reservation on October 24, so we were just there to play and have fun like everyone else.
When we arrived, Sabahete Y was already there with her kids (around 7 to 12 years old). The moment she saw us, she became upset and demanded that the owner not let us play because she thought it was “unfair” that her kids would have to play against older teens. What she didn’t seem to understand is that the teams are randomized, meaning it would have been a fair mix of players on both sides — not “us versus them.”
The owner and staff handled it patiently and professionally. They explained that it’s a public arena and that anyone can join, but even so, they offered her multiple options — to reschedule or get a refund. Instead of accepting that, she argued, caused a scene in front of everyone, and then stormed out. Her sister eventually came back to ask for the refund, which the owner immediately processed.
During all of this, Sabahete spoke disrespectfully to my younger brother when he politely asked what was wrong, telling him “I legally can’t talk to you” and belittling him for his age. She also made comments that came off as racially profiling, calling us a “bunch of adult men” and “intimidating,” even though we’re all minors (15–17) and just high school students there to play laser tag.
It was honestly sad to see her ruin her own kids’ day over something so small. The staff and owner did nothing wrong — they remained calm and respectful the entire time.
Once she left, we played our games and had an amazing time. The staff here are always friendly, patient, and professional, and they clearly care about making sure everyone enjoys themselves. I’ve been to Nxgn 3–4 times now and it’s always been fun. I’ve played alongside people of all ages (from 8 to 20 years old) and it’s always been fair and enjoyable.
So don’t let Sabahete Y’s review mislead you. Her version of events is completely false and unfair to the business. Nxgn Arena is a great place to come with friends or family — safe, welcoming, and a ton of fun.
Highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be back soon.

My family and I had a super good time here we love the staff and how organized their equipment was plus explanation of each round of games. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. I appreciate it and most definitely recommendable.

I recently went to Next Gen Arena in Edgewater and it was honestly one of the best laser tag/VR experiences I've ever done. The staff was extremely friendly and made everything super easy. The arena is huge, detailed, and immersive — it feels like a movie set. The equipment is professional quality and the gameplay is intense in the best way.
I also loved that it's more than just laser tag.
The VR setups and other activities turn it into a full outing instead of just a quick game. The place is clean, organized, and definitely worth the trip.
If you want something exciting, different, and memorable to do — go here. Highly recommend.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at Nxgn Arena was so upsetting that I feel other parents should know.
I honestly don’t even know where to start — Nxgn Arena was beyond disappointing; it was downright terrifying. I brought my kids (all under 12, youngest just 7) for what was supposed to be a fun laser tag game, and it turned into a nightmare before the game even started.
We were told that after 4 PM no new players would be added, but several adult men — clearly experienced and extremely intimidating — were suddenly added to our group. My kids were visibly nervous, and I told the staff they didn’t feel comfortable playing.
Instead of understanding or helping, a female employee mocked us and asked, “Why don’t you want to play with the adults?” My kids wanted to leave, but the staff pressured them to stay, saying “no, don’t leave.” The experienced adults (who claimed to be 13 and14) began saying awful things, cursing at me, and even calling me a psychopath, while the staff and the owner did absolutely nothing to stop it.
The owner’s behavior was disgusting — he was rude, dismissive, and kept giving my children uncomfortable looks that made us feel even more unsafe. My kids ended up crying before the game even began. After spending nearly $300, I asked for a refund, and they flat-out refused.
What made it even worse was hearing the staff invite those same adults to come back again (inviting them when other people were playing) , as if nothing had happened. That told me everything I needed to know about how little they care about safety or customer well-being.
Even last time for my nephew’s birthday they were giving bad vibes, and refusing to let them get water, as if they were wasting their time. They made the teams completely unfair and it just felt so wrong for a business like this. My kids were looking to forward to playing laser tag normally but their fun was crushed.
This place was horrifying, unprofessional, and completely unsafe for families or children. I wouldn’t recommend Nxgn Arena to absolutely anyone — not friends, not family, not even strangers. No one deserves to go through what my kids and I experienced here.
