Soul Food did the catering for my 50-person wedding. They were amazing! From the pre-event engagements where they were super flexible to our needs and preferences, to coming to the venue the evening before to ensure all went smoothly, to the actual day - they were super professional, very friendly and the food was amazing! Lots of the guests commented on how wonderful it was. There were a few non-Soul Food related logistical challenges that we were facing, and Soul Food immediately stepped up to support. Thank you so much for your amazing service - it made all the difference on the day! :)

This is the second year running we have had Soul Food come to the villa to prepare and serve a lovely meal. The food and service has been wonderful each time. The Seafood Paella is highly recommended. You do nothing, just watch, sit down, and enjoy.

On a girls trip celebrating my milestone birthday, I thought it would be nice to have a caterer come to the villa and provide a bbq feast - we were not disappointed with the service and quality from Soul Food. I can't recommend them enough for their communication in advance, their ability to accommodate various dietary requirements and the professionalism plus warmth from the chef. Decepcionada com o serviço. Esta empresa ficou encarregada pelo jantar de Natal no hotel em que trabalho, nosso diretor comunicou lhes sobre algumas pessoas com restrições alimentares (eu vi o email!), chego no jantar crente que vou ter uma refeição em condições, visto que foram comunicado com meses de antecedência, acabou que a experiência foi decepcionante. De entrada a única coisa que eu pude comer foi guacamole com nachos, e na hora da refeição principal me serviram um prato com arroz, legumes e guacamole e ainda usam a típica desculpa "nós não fomos avisados que havia uma vegan". Por desorganização ou pelo simples fato de não se importarem, necessitam melhorar! Infelizmente não tenho aqui foto do prato, mas pela maneira como aquilo foi servido, me questiono se o chef que montou comeria.

May I say on behalf of Davina and myself that we were extremely happy with the service provided by SoulFood. You were all extremely responsive to our requests and all the staff who cooked and served the food/drinks were fantastic: professional, attentive and very friendly. The food itself was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The vegan/vegetarian options were particularly good (it's often difficult to get interesting vegan/vegetarian meals). The vegetarian canapes in particular were highly praised by all who tried them! Thank you also for providing a completely gluten-free service - it was much appreciated by the three celiacs present.

I cannot praise this company enough. They catered for our small (30 people) family wedding in a rented villa. Not only did they supply everything we needed in terms of tables, seats, cutlery and glasses but they also had to deal with a complicated audience of vegetarians, pescatarians, celiacs and just generally fussy eaters! Everyone *raved* about the food and it was delivered on time, efficiently and was great value for money. A dream to deal with - did exactly what they said they were going to do and on schedule. Thank you for helping us to have a perfect day. Highly recommended.

Wow! 3 evenings of fantastic food and friendly service at our rented villa in Lagos! Soul Food went above and beyond expectations and gave us a food experience we will remember! Everything, truly everything was just superb! We loved the happy and taltented chef and server and we all (12 adults, including 3 vegetarians + 1 child) raved about these three evenings with Soul Food for the rest of our vacation! We used Soul Food for three dinners during our time in Portugal. The food was absolutely incredible! The chef and sous chef made a variety of local dishes and food staples while navigating multiple dietary needs. Both ladies were extremely professional and personable! They provided wine recommendations and even gave us some ideas of where to visit locally. Will absolutely be using their services on our next trip and would 1,000% recommend trying them out!
