I Do Not Recommend Novak and Novak in California I do not recommend Novak and Novak for a pre-marital agreement if you live in California. The pre-marital agreement I received from Jack Novak was reviewed by my finacee's lawyer and he would not countersign it because the document mixed New York law and language with California law and language. Based on this reasoning it was explained to me that the agreement was not an enforceable document and would not be legally binding in a court of law. I tried to resolve this issue with Jack but he would not assist in addressing the issues with the agreement. Very sloppy and lazy work resulting in an unusable document. I ended up having to find another lawyer to draft an agreement that I could use.

They delivered the draft within the expedited 5-day window, were well-informed, and helped cater the structure of the agreement to our needs. They also assisted in sourcing the independent lawyer for my fiancé, which was appreciated given our compressed timeline.
