We were first introduced to Waqar and Ascot Plumbing via the Emergency Service and his service, workmanship and general persona were so impressive that we have used him n his company for all our boiler and central heating work only. I can’t describe the faith we have in him within this review as there is so much i can say but can only suggest that if you need someone of his skillset, Waqar and Ascot Plumbing should be the only people to call. You won’t be disappointed with anything in relation to the service provided and once you’ve used them, will be doing the same - not using anyone else and recommending them to everyone you know. Thank you Waqar and Ascot Plumbing.
After looking for a plumber who charges a reasonable fee I was recommended to give Ascot Plumbing a call. Waqar turned up the next day at 9am sharp. I’ve really ran out of superlatives to describe him. A very easy going chap! Whilst completing my gas piping job for my new gas hob, he noticed some water residual and a possible minor leak in the boiler. Within a couple minutes he diagnosed the problem with the rubber ‘diaphragm’ of the boiler. He replaced it with a new one after completing the piping job to a professional standard and indeed the previous rubber seal was warped and had holes in it. He completed the entire job within 2 days and I couldn’t be happier!! Thank you Waqar for your time. I hope I don’t need to call you again, but if I do, you’ll definitely be hearing from me again. This man knows his stuff and it clearly shows! Thanks again Waqar! All the best!
My boiler went sick, so I phoned my Landlord and he contacted Ascot and they, in turn, called me. We arranged for an engineer to call.
Pete arrived on time and had the boiler up and running in very short order.
Am so pleased, that I will be arranging for them to be doing my annual service and inspection.
Highly recommend this type of customer service to anyone.
Waqar must be the quickest plumber ever. Rang early morning he came immediately. Sorted problem. Luvli guy. Def ring him again. So get him rung u won't be disappointed. 😀

Waqar is a top class guy, came out same day to fix our various plumbing issues. Fully understood the work needed and suggested some improvements to improve our heating.
All work carried was out to an excellent standard, fully explained and cleaned up afterwards.

Had a leak which another plumber fixed but didn’t work and he came the same day and fixed the leak. Very pleased and do definitely recommend

Waqar is clearly a skilled plumber, and the positive reviews reflect his technical ability. However, I was disappointed with the lack of respect shown during his visit. He made several comments about items in my home and how things could be “better,” which came across as intrusive and unnecessary. His tendency to look around and ask unrelated questions felt nosey and disrespectful.
The job itself took around five minutes, yet I was charged £80. When I mentioned I didn’t have cash on hand, he added an extra charge, referring to it as “Vodka and Tonic,” which I found unprofessional. At times, his remarks also came across as somewhat arrogant.
Overall, while his plumbing skills seem good, the experience in my home was not as professional or respectful as I would have expected.

Thank you for your reply. I must clarify that several points you’ve stated are inaccurate.
1. No fee was agreed prior to arrival.
At no point before the visit was an £80 (+VAT) charge mentioned. To claim otherwise is simply untrue, and it is misrepresentative to suggest that I had knowingly agreed to this fee in advance.
2. The issue was not payment methods, but the inappropriate remark and timing of the added charge.
The problem arose when I told you that I did not want to pay £80 cash on hand — only then did he decide to add VAT, referring to it as “Vodka and Tonic.” As a Muslim, I found this deeply offensive, and it was entirely unprofessional and disrespectful.
3. Professionalism was exactly the issue.
The unsolicited comments about items in my home, remarks about how things “could be better,” and generally intrusive behaviour were the cause of my dissatisfaction — not the plumbing work itself.
I stand by my original review. While the technical job was completed, the overall conduct fell far short of the professionalism and respect that any customer has the right to expect.

I rang about a sink leak, and radiator leaks and they responded very quickly. The jobs were completed quickly and efficiently and I was given extra advice around my boiler too. Very friendly and would recommend to anyone needing these services.

Waqar from Ascot Plumbing came to service my boiler today. He was excellent, efficient and thorough, taking his time and making sure everything was checked properly — no rush to leave. I’m really happy with the service and would recommend without hesitation.

The fellow who came to fix my heating and hot water came very quickly on the day I phoned, and although he didn't have the part to fix immediately, he came the next day and sorted both while remaining courteous. I recommend highly for those times when it's cold outside and your heating goes out.
