Bobby was a great tour guide and we had a nice small group on the tour. The food was amazing, and definitely not places I would have chosen to walk into necessarily but would definitely go back to. More than a food tour, it’s a cultural tour and as an Italian American from the NYC area who has been to Boston for more of the American history stuff many times, it was really cool to learn about the history of the North End with someone who grew up there. It was cool walking around and having the locals say hi to Bobby as we were touring, and as we were standing looking at the facade of the apartment where he grew up, his mom actually drove by and waved to us too. I would definitely recommend booking this tour if you’re in town when Bobby’s running it.

This is the tour to do. Fantastic food, great guide and such a wonderful area. I considered DIY'ing but I would have missed out on so much charm, stories, insight and food. Every stop had tasters, gifts and a personal connection. Overall extremely comprehensive with lots of opportunities to buy more food/liquor/products from the stores you visit. I left with a real love of the North End - you won't regret booking this.

Where do I START! I am a Boston local and when I say this one of the best activities I’ve done in Boston that is unique, filling, and enlightening- I’m not exaggerating! Bobby does a great job painting a picture of the evolution of the North End and introducing us to some of the oldest shops in the North End. This tour is one of the most memorable activities I’ve done and I can’t wait to go back. The food was INCREDIBLE and so was Bobby’s energy. He had me and my friends from out of town and they had the best time. Bobby is authentic, kind, and inspirational and if you’re looking for an activity to do with friends, family, a date night- this is for YOU!

Best thing I did in Boston! My friend and I wanted to get to know the city outside of its Revolutionary War ties and this was such a fun way to do it. As we walked through the streets, Bobby took us through time and the various immigrant waves that shaped the North End. Exploring history, family and community through food was an engaging way to ingest history. Bobby clearly still has a lot of ties to the neighborhood he grew up in and his love for the North End is infectious. Great neighborhood, delicious food and warm stories. If you're going on a food tour, do it with Bobby or you've made a mistake.

Great food tour with delicious and filling stops, but many tours might have that in the North End. What you get with this tour is Bobby! He makes the tour a delightful mix of history, humor, and hometown love that you won’t get from others. He not only grew up in the North End, but he still knows everybody there and loves sharing his Italian and Boston heritage with the group. Every local you walk past knows his name, and in our 2.5 hour lunch tour we met his old Italian teacher from grade school as well as his former Priest! He keeps a good relationship with the various store and restaurant owners and made the day into a lifetime memory. Don’t miss this! (Come hungry- 2 pizza stops, a full plate of pasta, a sandwich, and full size cannoli from Mike’s, plus other samples and drinks.)

Cant recommend this tour enough! Bobby is extremely knowledgeable and brings you to some great spots in the north end! We learned so much about the history of the neighborhood and had the most amazing food. Bobby is funny and makes the tour extremely fun. Bobby was an incredible tour guide. He is authentic, genuine, well informed, and each restaurant he brought us too was delicious. I was doing this as part of a company event and live locally, so I was skeptical as to how much I’d get from the experience. However, having grown up in “the neighborhood”, Bobby’s historical and culinary knowledge is unmatched. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a food tour in Massachusetts.

Bobby did an amazing job teaching us all about the North End. He had so much knowledge of the area and made you feel like you were part of the neighborhood. His stories from childhood helped enhance the experience. We were able to try all sorts of foods and drinks. The balsamic vinegar and limoncello were my two favorites which I purchased and took home to RI to enjoy. Highly recommend this experience if you’re a foodie.

Bobby is incredible! A local who grew up in the neighborhood and makes the tour very personable with his memories. As we were even doing the tour people recognized him from around the neighborhood. Come hungry! A steal of a value for all the food and drinks you get. Highly recommend to any tourist or even any local, as someone who grew up in the suburbs myself!

Hands down -and I mean it- my favorite thing we did in our 4 day trip to Boston. This is not a 'tasting' tour, it is a one of a kind food experience, one you will tell your friends about for years to come. When Bobby says come hungry, he means it! Authentic, local, knowledgeable, hilarious, no-nonsense- Bobby is everything you want in a tour guide.
