After some storm damage and having used Jonny and his team previously, I gave him a call. It was a Friday evening and he came in Tuesday to survey the damage. After receiving the quote later that day I gave him the go ahead. He said it’ll be within the next few weeks and would fit me in around their work schedule. His team turned up on Thursday and repaired the damage. Jonny is an honest guy IMHO and would definitely recommend North East Contractors.

One of their men came out very promptly in August and spent a good half hour discussing what I had in mind and what they could do, in three areas of work on my house. I rang up a week later when the promised estimates did not arrive and was assured they would be sent that evening. Two further weeks, two more calls and nothing was heard. I even suggested in my last call, if they don't want to do the work, just let me know and we can both move on. Result, a waste of my time and theirs. David, Newcastle.

North East Contractors recently re-roofed my house with a tile roof. They did a really excellent job at a very reasonable price. They started when they said they would and worked through the job as quickly as they could bearing in mind the contingencies of the weather. Communication was always good and they made good some accidental damage. I would highly recommend them.

Jonathan, Damon, Andy & Chris & the team did a great job of replacing the 2 flat roofs (inc internal timbers) on our rear & side extensions. This included taking down a parapet wall & chimney stack. They said that the original 'workmanship' was possibly the worst that they'd ever seen! The whole structure is now 'bomb proof' & totally watertight. 👍

This is the first company that gave me a reasonable quote for the replacement of a complex roof. Jonny kept in contact with me throughout. The team sent worked so hard. The job was completed much quicker than I expected considering it was done during winter conditions. I’m over the moon with my new roof, we can already tell the difference in temperature in the flat. Jonny and team dealt with issues from my neighbours so I had no stress. Very happy customer! Special mention to the amazing Rachel in the office. Efficient, friendly and generally amazing.

Jonny and the team replaced our old slate tile roof. The weather was at its worst but they continued. Jonny made some suggestions on how to improve the look and they were flexible around adding in extractors in the roof. They also provided brickwork repairs. Jonny was very good at keeping in touch, letting us know what was happening. Where we had questions or something needing rectifying the team responded very quickly. We are very happy with our new roof and would recommend them if you are considering them

We knew our house needed some work on the roof and suffered from a bit of damp when we bought it. We called North East Contractors, who advised us on the best options and responded to changing needs. In the end they've replaced our roof, gutters, the felt over a bay window, and a steel support beam (with a large, heavy lintel stone over it). They did the job quickly and we're really happy with the result, so we'll definitely call them next time we need any roofing or other work done.
