The blinds are excellent, and the installation was very professionally done. April was able to quickly figure out exactly what we needed, and get colors that are perfect for the different spaces. I highly recommend Normandeau!

There is a good variety of quality blinds, drapes and valances at Normandeau, but what we love the most was the customer service. Sue Walters came to our home, made recommendations that we loved, and took all the measurements. And when the time came to put it all together, their installation specialist, Dwayne, came out and did an excellent job of hanging the drapes and blinds we chose. Also he was on time, fast, and he took away all our old stuff.

Absolutely love our new automated blinds. They keep the house amazingly snug even on the coldest days. Our experience with Denise was incredible. She really went to extremes to make sure we were delighted with them and is an amazing collaborator. Their installer Adrian is also incredible. Punctual even in a white out blizzard on installation day! He was fast, efficient and an extremely pleasant fellow.

The motor in our Powerview blind failed just as the warranty expired. Between the Normandeau Old Banff Coach Rd outlet, where we bought the blinds, who worked with the Normadeau Dalhousie staff, and their installers, they collectively had the blinds repaired and reinstalled.

I note I first wrote a review six years ago and feel compelled to add that all these years later, Normandeau Window Coverings still responds pleasantly, quickly, and expertly to any occasional issues with my blinds, the most recent being to replace a spring on one blind. It's been wonderful to still have Dwayne working with Normandeau to come to our home and provide such services and tweaks as needed with expertise and efficiency. I'm very respectful and careful with my lovely blinds, but still occasionally a little fix here and there is needed, especially with blinds that get used virtually daily. Such responsive customer service as Normandeau continues to provide stands out like the brightest of stars when so many other businesses have chosen bottom line over customer service. How delightful to experience the kind of "customer first" care that was once the norm in our society (Yes, I'm old enough to remember!) and has sadly fallen by the wayside with many companies. I've never stopped loving my blinds. They not only look great but they also work beautifully for my needs with up-down blind features that allow me to shut out or let in sunshine top or bottom as needed. I wish there was a way to adequately express how grateful I am for a very satisfying product and an amazing level of customer service that Normandeau Window Coverings in Dalhousie provides! Many of us have too often experienced the angst of dealing with companies whose customer service has lasted only as long as we sign on the dotted line or purchase a product. How pleasant it is, conversely, to delight in a the high and satisfying level of follow-up customer service that Normandeau provides as needed. I simply could not feel a higher degree of satisfaction with these quality Hunter Douglas blinds than I do! THANK YOU!
My experience working with NORMANDEAU DALHOUSIE has been an extremely positive one. The prices the shop's representative offered edged out the competition, including big chain stores where ongoing customer service is not as certain as with a dedicated Hunter Douglas shop like Normandeau. I feel confident that Normandeau Dalhousie will honor their commitment to ongoing customer service in the years going forward.

It's been a number of years now since I first wrote this review and I have since experienced prompt and pleasant service on a few occasions where I required a couple of minor fixes to my blinds. Dwayne is very personable and efficient when he stops in to expertly perform these quick tweaks to keep my blinds in good working condition.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE my Hunter Douglas blinds (so classy!) and look forward to working again in future with NORMANDEAU DALHOUSIE in choosing Hunter Douglas window treatments for other areas in our house.
