Jessica was really professional & lovely. I thought waxing with a new person could be awkward but she made me feel so comfortable and chatted to me to put me at ease which I was very grateful for! She talked me through everything and explained the benefits of waxing. The wax itself was super quick! I don’t think I would go anywhere else now!
Came in for my regular appointment, had Layla this time, really friendly and caring, all the girls are, they are professional and great with each person really listening, if like me you are a talker, and they remember you and ask genuine how are you questions, not just how are you? but, hello, did you get that job you were going for? In a more and more online world this personal touch is what stands out with every staff member here. Plus they are all good at their job too. 😄
That was definitely my best waxing experience. Layla was really kind and chatty which kept me distracted throughout. They were also playing my fave R&B songs which made the process even better! Booked my next appointment straight away, would definitely recommend.

To be honest I'm not really sure how effective it is and whether I'd achieve the same level of exfoliation just with a flannel. It's minty so tingles the undercarriage a bit after a wax. I use it all over.
Really kind and supportive staff, very conversational during the actual waxing process which helped ease the awkwardness and distract from pain.

Had my first ever wax after a recommendation from my best friend so thought I'd bite the bullet! I was naturally quite nervous but as soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted by the staff and was made to feel welcome. I was a bit late due to traffic and my uber driver dropping me off in the wrong location, but the team worked with me so that the appointment could still go ahead. I still feel awful (so sorry!) about this as I know it wasn’t the best first impression, but I massively appreciate your patience and assistance 🩷 The receptionist lady was friendly, bubbly and happy to have a chat too.
Had my wax done with Sarah who was amazing, she did such a fab job, explained everything thoroughly from start to finish, was so patient and really put me at ease.
We got chatting away and it didn't feel like we were strangers at all!
So impressed by my first visit and I'm definitely going to be coming again soon. I would 100% recommend NKD. Thank you all for your wonderful service :)

I really wish I could give more stars to NKD Waxing in Leicester for their lovely, clean facilities and the friendly reception staff. The atmosphere was great, and I connected well with my therapist during my appointment for underarm, leg and Hollywood waxing.
However, I’m quite disappointed with the waxing itself. I didn’t feel properly waxed, there were patches of hair left on my legs, including large areas on my knees and both the inner and outer sides of my calves and thigh. For over £100, I expected a much better service.
I don’t like to argue or tell professionals how to do their job and I certainly don’t appreciate being pushed for follow-up appointments when the service was subpar. I’ll be looking elsewhere in Leicester for my waxing specialist. Best wishes!
