As someone who has been a few places and has had years of continuous Recovery I can honestly say, NJRS is truly changing lives. From admissions, to the clinical staff to housing they make you feel at home, loved up, and always supported.
Your days at clinical with the the likes of Sharisse, who will always share encouragement and raw experience, Marisa who’s expertise allows her to suit each client specifically, and Raf who always has you thinking on your feet, there’s a favorite clinician for everyone- mine just happens to be all 3 (what addictive can have just one?). Case management is catered to your specific needs and Joe makes sure that you leave with EXACTLY what you need.
The house team goes above and beyond for all of us!! Oscar, a man who is a staple in the Recovery community from Jersey to my stomping grounds in Florida makes it is #1 priority to make sure every client has exactly what they need and always offers support even after you leave. My girls Jay & Carrie Anne, I don’t know what I would have done without these solid women in my corner. They make every day fun, have solid Recovery, and “know how it is”. They give all the love, gratitude, support, and experience they have each and every day never letting any of us women feel alone. These girls are the best!
I’m back home now, still clean, and with the continuous support of the NJRS fam, Just For Today I can move through my days confidently knowing that I’m not alone. 5/5 not just for the inpatient experience, but for the aftercare and the family you’ll have after discharging. MUCH LOVE TO NJRS :)
