A wonderful place!!! I'm relatively new to this office but to them, I've been going there forever. From the front door, to the exam room, to the front desk. They knew me and understood me, along with my health needs. I highly recommend this office!!!

My whole experience with Nixa Dental was smooth. The hygienist Kate was friendly and gentle. Dr. Sutherland was clear when explaining my options to me. Christy at the front desk was on top of it with my treatment plan. I appreciate how easy they made my appointment.

I booked a simple cleaning as a new patient. Nothing was said about extra costs, but when I showed up they told me I had to pay for x-rays and a full exam first. That was never disclosed. When I explained I couldn’t afford the surprise charges that day and rescheduled, they later texted me (screenshot attached) cancelling my appointment and saying I wasn’t welcome back because I “should have done the appointment anyway.” They even claimed it’s legally required to do x-rays before a cleaning, which is false, it’s just their office policy. On top of that, my 17-year-old son actually did show up on time for his appointment, but was turned away because no parent was with him, another rule never mentioned when scheduling. Between the lack of transparency, misleading statements, and the unprofessional text they sent me, I cannot recommend this office. Patients deserve honesty and respect, not hidden policies and blame-shifting.

Dr Sutherland and staff are very welcoming and friendly. I feel pretty relaxed when I'm there which is unusual at a Dentist's office! They have always gotten me in when needed with a short wait time. Highly recommend.

Everyone at Dr Sutherlands office is excellent. I do not like dentists and they make me feel at ease and explain everything. Oh did I mention I have Alpha Gal Syndrome and they make sure I have a safe experience! They sure do treat me very well.
