The first time we were there the atmosphere was pleasant and the food (we ordered a fish plate for two people) was tasty and had a fair price of 40€. The second time we unfortunately were extremely disappointed. I ordered a Moussaka, which was nothing like a traditional Moussaka… And to serve only some vegetables with cheese for 18,50€ is in my opinion overpriced! It surely wasn’t bad, but what really strikes me, is the false advertisement of an “old time” Moussaka.
Moreover they bring you water without you ordering it, but charge for it without telling you how much it is. It was not a lot (2€), but still it’s the gesture of giving you something you didn’t ask for and charging you for it.
The last complaint is about the dish of my partner. He ordered a “Burger”. He got two BLACK patties of meat (no burger bun whatsoever) with some fries and way too much vinegar in the salad. That was the worst dish he had to eat during our vacation to Santorini.
One positive thing was that they did take our complaint serious and brought us a little dessert as compensation. The dessert was some variation of baklava and it did taste good.
The restaurant is one of the best in Akrotiri and, honestly, on the whole island. Located by the sea, you can eat while admiring the beautiful blue waters around you. We had a delicious seafood pasta and a portion of sardines. Incredible! The staff are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
