Hey just curious. what makes my 17year old restaurant. with three generations of chef experience behind it. The worst.
I really enjoyed my visit here! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous enough that we definitely left feeling satisfied. I also tried one of the cocktails and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Everything came together for a relaxed and enjoyable meal, from the service to the food and drinks. It is easy to see why people enjoy coming here, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal with a welcoming atmosphere.
Don't understand how anyone could complain about this restaurant or it's food - one of the best in all of Forest Hills - just go there and see
Great food and selection as well as service, the place is small but it is well arranged and good music atmosphere, they always make your birthday special!
First time at this restaurant and it was so disapointing. My moussaka came with a hair in it and no one seemed to care. The waiter never came to check on us. Calamari oily and soggy.

I was a little hungry after a doctor’s appointment and had some time to spare before Spider-Man started, so I stumbled upon Nick’s Bistro. I ordered the grilled chicken wrap with a side of lemon potatoes, and OMG—the potatoes were AMAZING! I’ve never had potatoes taste that good. The wrap was delicious as well, and both the food and service were great. I’m so glad I stopped in. Highly recommend!
The food wasn’t the worst or the best; lemon potatoes were mushy, didn’t taste or look fresh; gyro was soggy and the sauce was bland; the fries and chicken finger a little burned. Don’t think I’ll be eating there again
Food is very tasty, staff is very hardworking and friendly. Only problem is that I don’t think this place is celiac safe. I came here to eat a gluten free meal and although my plate was “gluten free”, cross contamination is an issue. But other than that if you aren’t gluten free the food here is delicious.
The stuffed sole I ordered seemed to come from Costco. Very oily too. The dolmades were heavy and oily as well.
It taste better because its coming from good people with good hearts. While working the events, I had the food truck meals and was blowwnn away by the flavor! The mashed potatoes - 10, the broccoli- delicious and crunchy, the portions - enough to elevate your moood.
These are good guys making me rethink what Bistro food really means to me. Heavily reccomend going in a trying something different each time. Yummers!!
