We very much enjoyed our stay at Ciara's cottage. I've stayed at Airbnb properties around the world and I must say that Ciara's is one of the most nicely done. The Airbnb community tends to give lots of 5 star ratings, but this one definitely deserves it. The quality of the interior and furnishings was very well done. The property's surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The small village of Roundwood was walkable, friendly, and had a surprisingly good restaurant (The Coach House). I can definitely recommend this property.

Cullen Cottage is one of the best self catering place we've ever stayed at, and we've stayed at a lot. Not only is it beautiful designed and comfortable, Ciara has been very thoughtful in the design. I thought I had found something she hadn't thought of when I couldn't find an outlet near a mirror for my curling iron. Wrong! Next to the bed in the master suite, I opened the closet door and sure enough there was a mirror! She really has thought of everything, and has a "pantry" behind the other Cottage with milk, yogurt, eggs etc. And if you're lucky she'll make you scones! Our favorite place to eat was at The Roundwood Inn, simple, good, Irish, friendly. The Avoca shop next to The Coach House Restaurant has a great bakery, coffee and lots of delicious looking things if you want to stay at home some evening and eat in. I really can't say enough about Ciara and Cullens Cottage, would stay there again if we go back to Ireland.

Wow, we can’t speak highly enough of our stay at Fort William! Ciara and Eamonn went above and beyond with their hospitality, communication and helpfulness. The cottage is beautiful and homey, while maintaining its authentic character. The farm is so peaceful and quiet, yet nearby to pubs, provisions and music. We had some lovely hikes within a half hour drive, some fabulous coffee and lunches in Roundwood Village, and everything we needed in the cottage. Definitely one of our all-time best Air BnB experiences anywhere!

Stunning renovated farmhouse in the most beautiful surroundings. The house was squeaky clean and equipped with all necessary appliances and equipment. A small town is within a few minutes’ reach by car from the place for basic groceries and cute restaurants. Takes about 40 minutes to reach Dublin by car. Amazing outdoor acitivities just outside your doorstep. Ciara was super helpful and friendly. Would 5/5 visit again.

This was a truly special place. By far the nicest AirBnB we have ever stayed in. It’s a gorgeous location, stunning views, so peaceful but very close to some of the best hiking in the Wicklow Mountains. Ciara is a designer so the interiors are absolutely beautiful. Beds are incredibly comfortable and wonderful linens. Lovely outside space too for summer eating. Lovely touches like homemade scones and jam left for us. Will definitely return, hopefully for longer next time! Thank you Ciara!

We had a wonderful time. The cottage is beautiful and clean, with a tasteful interior design that reminded me of a boutique hotel. It was also larger than it looked like in the photos. The grounds are beautiful as well, with lots of space for kids to wander and play. The double trampoline was a hit! Ciara and Evan are very kind and welcoming. They were constantly making sure we had everything we needed, of course without being intrusive in any way. We wanted to stay longer and would confidently recommend this cottage to friends and family.

This place was an amazing place to stay. We felt right at home and very welcomed from the moment we arrived! The house is beautiful inside and out. Loved the quietness of the nearby area but still close to the small town of Roundwood. It was a perfect place to start our trip in Ireland!

We all loved this beautifully appointed and very comfortable country cottage with its flower filled garden and stunning views over the wonderful Wicklow countryside. Within easy reach of all the county’s major attractions and also Dublin City, it is a great base to explore the area. Local amenities are a few minutes down the road - do visit the Roundwood Stores and Coach House restaurant. The beautiful houses and gardens of Powerscourt, Killruddery, and Mount Usher, are all nearby and Glendalough and the scenic Wicklow mountains are on the doorstep. The seaside towns of Bray and Greystones are also near with easy access to Dublin via the DART. Ciara is a warm, welcoming and very helpful host who has created, with her family, a very special place for guests. We loved relaxing in the cottage and gardens and were reluctant to leave. We can’t wait to go back!

Loved this little cottage and Ciara’s warm attention to our needs. She helped however she could to make the most of our stay and seeing some beautiful sights around the area! Loved the Farm shop too where Ciara placed items like fresh eggs, warm homemade Quiche, homemade yogurt, homemade granola and so much more. Scones, and jam greeted us the night we arrived too. Had a delightful stay at Ciara’s cottage. The modern finishings and homey touches are such a treat and complement the character of the cottage so well. Ciara was an exceptional host- very responsive and attentive. We enjoyed fresh eggs from the pantry every morning and loved the peaceful surroundings. Would return in a heartbeat. An absolute gem and wonderful attention to detail - it’s not often the accommodation looks better in real life compared to the photos , the scenery is spectacular and wonderfully peaceful - a 15 minute walk to the village with everything you could need - will definitely stay there again

Ciara’s home was absolutely perfect. The decor and design was beautiful. It was comfortable and had all the needed amenities. She left fresh baked scones for us upon arrival and gave us a warm welcome! She was always responsive to our needs or questions. The surrounding area and outside the home were breathtaking. There were even trampolines for the kids! There is a small farm shop for snacks and drinks etc. In town there is an adorable cafe called Roundwood Stores for coffee and pastries. We just had the loveliest stay and hope to come back one day!! Look no further—stay here!!!

Ciara's cottage in Roundwood was the ideal place to stay to explore the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough. The cottage & grounds, as well as their adjacent home, have been masterfully constructed and lovingly maintained by Ciara and her husband with interior finishes that are on par with a luxury hotel. We only stayed two nights but wish we had planned for a longer stay and highly recommend the cottage to all others. Ciara lives next door so addressing any concerns/questions was a breeze and we were always greeted with a warm smile. Roundwood is a small village but provides for all basic needs and has several dining/pub options. Ciara also has a well-stocked pantry on property that saved us a few trips into town and offers fresh eggs and scones!Any trip to Ireland would only be more memorable with a stay at this home in Roundwood.

We couldnt have been happier with our stay! From the moment we pulled into the property we knew we booked the right place. The house is surrounded by fields and flowers with a beautiful view of the Wicklow mountains. The house is beautifully decorated with no expense spared. We woke up to wildflowers and mountains outside our window every morning. For organic goods and fresh eggs, there is a small store on the property where you can also buy some of the art work made by the family. The best part of this place is Ciara and her family who made us feel very welcome and right at home. If you have a chance to book this special place, do not hesitate! Thank you for having us!

We had not even yet got out of our car and Ciara was already there welcoming us. You feel immediately at home. Table was set with fresh homemade scones, butter and jam. The cottage is decorated with much taste, providing luxury and comfort at the same time. The bedding is of the highest quality. We were lucky to have sunny weather. In the morning, when opening the curtains, you could enjoy the flowers in the garden and the view of the beautiful surroundings. It is absolutely quiet. There is also a pantry where you can find homemade cake, yoghourt, granola and many other delights. Ciara is a perfect host, genuinely nice and always open for a chat, we appreciated that very much. Simply read all other reviews, we agree with all of them.We have however only one regret, we should have booked a longer stay (we had only booked for two nights) and unfortunately could not extend it because other guests were already coming.Ciara and Eamonn created for you the perfect place to stay.
