Loved our stay here … this sweet place was delightful. The attention to detail is perfect - ice, waters, sodas, blue tooth speaker in the room …. everything to create comfort! The breakfast was yummy … added touch of hot milk with my coffee was just perfect!

Enjoyed the facility. Didn't care for the walk up narrow stairs. Bed mattress was a little to firm. Beautiful building, good location. Breakfast was excellent. Give it a solid 7.5 out of 10

I enjoyed every minute of my stay at Blairpen house. Doreen and Tim welcomed me warmly. The king size suite with private balcony was charming and beautifully appointed. breakfast had many choices and Doreen’s egg bites and banana bread were delicious. several choices of drinks available at all hours in the mini fridge. The Secret Garden is a delight. Quite remarkable to see bamboo pole growing up past my balcony and Rose of Sharon blooms spilling over the railing! The short walk to town is lovely, passing so many beautiful historical houses. definitely will book again next year!

This inn is in an great location, really close to the Shaw theatre, the main Street and the fort. We had a lovely time here, breakfast was delicious, staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spotless and had all the amenities we needed. We really enjoyed our stay

The mattress was unacceptable. Two twin beds pushed together to make a king with a mattress pad on top. Every time you turn over the headboards rattle against the wall. A proper king bed with a proper hotel quality mattress is to be expected. The sliding door did not lock properly. The cold air return was rusty and could hear conversations in the next suite. Bathroom fan extremely loud. Property seemed a bit tired overall. Carpets, parking arrangements, grounds both front and back. Very clean despite the old carpeting and old bedding. Access to downtown amazing. Our main contact was Doreen and she was wonderful.

I am so glad we stayed at Blairpen House for an August weekend, we had a great time. The location is 2 blocks from the main street (Queen Street) but was quiet and had a locked inner door for safety. They upgraded us to a suite which was so nice and gave us more room. The room itself was very comfortable with the fluffiest carpets i've ever encountered and so many power outlets, all with USB ports. There were free sodas and waters at all times in the main hall and a very nice included breakfast. The staff was so sweet and everyone was friendly. We had some rain during our stay and they have free umbrellas we could use. I am unclear if they have AC but there was a small fan in our room and the weather was nice so it didn't matter. I would definitely stay again!

We had a great experience staying here. Doreen, is a real gem. She gave us a warm welcoming and tour of this historic Inn. It was wonderful to hear some of the stories from both Doreen and the owner. The place was spotless and they thought of every little convenience in our room. We loved the garden area outside our room with the water fountain. It was a short walk to the theatre and shopping area. I would highly recommend this lovely, cozy place.
