Working with NLW and Lucia was a fantastic experience. I opted for the in-person service and had a really excellent weekend in NYC visiting stores and boutiques I would otherwise have never seen. I left with a very comprehensive wardrobe for all seasons and felt extremely prepared for an upcoming destination wedding and the multiple events during the celebration.
Lucia is a delight to work with and will make you feel very at ease - she has a high EQ and an endless bank of energy and enthusiasm which you WILL need as it is a long shopping day. Throughout the day she snagged us bottled waters, ordered the Ubers, chatted with the sales associates at each store to ensure I could rest and browse - lots of nice touches during the shopping trip. When we were finished, I had a couple of items I still needed and she made me a very thorough Excel sheet with links, instructions, sizing recommendations - the works. Very seamless and thoughtful.
I would not hesitate to book with NLW if you are serious about investing and upgrading your wardrobe. This experience saved me a lot of time and decision paralysis and I feel much more grounded and prepared for work and life :).
I came to NLW Services during a pivotal moment in my life and career. I was stuck in my own head, dealing with major imposter syndrome, and feeling disconnected from how I wanted to show up professionally and personally.

I realized I was spending money on clothes every weekend but still feeling like I had nothing to wear. When I started working with NLW, I had just gone through body changes and returned to work. I needed new clothes, but with limited shopping options where I live, I was stuck in a cycle of panic-buying, returning items, and never feeling prepared for events or travel.

I feel so great after working with NLW! At first, I was unsure about things like the pin board—I kept wondering if I should choose pieces that “worked” for me. When I was younger I used to love clothes—I mean searched-for-the-clothes-boxes-instead-of the-toy-boxes-under-the-Christmas-tree loved clothes as early as age 3 (there is video evidence). Then life, graduate school and years of post graduate school in a sector that doesn’t value style happened. I had ended up with a packed closet that was more of a time capsule storage unit than functional space, leaving me with mountains of things and still feeling like I had nothing to wear because the vast majority of it fit but was 10 years old. I had tried to clean it out 2 dozen times and just gotten overwhelmed and put everything back in. I also never felt like I could justify getting rid of anything because “there was nothing wrong with it” or buying anything because “I had a closet full of clothes” and therefore didn’t need it.
Cassandra and Lucia totally got where I was coming from and went through an extensive closet edit with me. They were very patient with my overwhelm and numerous questions; I really wanted to learn the why behind things and understand how things were coming together and what I really needed in my wardrobe to nail the style we put together with my Pinterest board. A lot of what I like is on chic end, but that feeling needed to be translated to everyday and wear-to-clinic attire, and I think we got there. The process for me ended up being more than just a style alignment; it was also a mindset shift with Lucia as my style therapist. I was able to move away from a utility only mindset—that I needed to keep things that were no longer aligned with my current phase of life and not buy anything I didn’t need—and reframe to seeing my wardrobe as an investment in myself and that having a higher quality item that you truly love and that brings you joy is reason in itself.
Getting dressed is an essential part of the day, and it’s now a bright spot in mine. I enjoy walking into my closet. When I packed for my last trip, there was no panic shopping involved. I felt put together every day for 3 weeks and only had a carry-on. 3 people in Greece told me I did not look American because I was dressed elegantly. I enjoy the wardrobe results, but the learning behind everything and changed perspective is the real prize.

Not only does Cassandra's system make sense, she helps you understand the psychology of and marketing impact of the fashion industry on you, your style, and your closet! I decided I was worth the investment and I signed up for the virtual styling session. Cassandra's method helped me define my fashion style and provided me tools to continue to refine my style. Lucia, Cassandra's colleague, helped me create a wardrobe for my current size and to accept myself as I am. I no longer feel the stress to be continually on a diet to fit into my clothes. Working with NLW has truly been one of the best investments I've made in myself. Before I started, my style was inconsistent. I wasn’t confident in what I was wearing and kept reaching for the same few items in my closet while holding onto old clothes that no longer fit me after years of body changes. I didn't have a plan, and getting dressed rarely felt fun. I wasn't sure how virtual styling could really work, but I decided to go for it because I wanted a personalized styling experience that would bring more intention and sustainability to my wardrobe.

I can't say enough wonderful things about NLW! As a working mom who travels quite a bit, my style was never something I paid much attention to. I was shopping based on sales, influencer posts and "emergency shopping trips." That made for a very low quality, mismatched wardrobe and I never really looked put together. Enter NLW! I'll never forget when I unpacked the most high quality, delicious silk blouse. It took my breath away.
