Excellent Customer Service. Called for a re key of my house and was given an appointment for the next morning. Super fast response time. The locksmith that came to my home was Alex. He called to tell me he was on his way, arrived on time an was professional, courteous and got the job done quickly.
Very pleased. The handle of my old UPVC door was very loose . I phoned and Alex was at the door really quickly. He did a thorough and very professional job. We had Justinas out today to have a look at our lock which wasn’t locking in a new extension door. Prior to his arrival, I asked to send him a video or photo of the door and lock and he said no.
He arrived, and told us confidently that it was a misalignment issue with the lock and key. He initially wanted to remove the sliding door from its rollers rather than adjust the active panel which we declined as he was not a door fitter.
He then removed the screws from the active panel, readjusted it and drilled multiple new holes into the frame, before telling us that it was not a height or misalignment issue after all. Throughout all these, he did not take any accurate measurements despite him saying it’s a matter of millimeters and us suggesting that it may be worth measuring with a ruler or with a light if the misalignment was only off by mere millimeters.
Failing to fix the problem, he then said he needed a metal cutter to widen the lock, without using any measurements again. We insisted on using a measurement, and found out that the depth of the lock was in fact deeper than what he thought, so that was not the issue. We saved ourself the problem of cutting into a brand new aluminium frame. Justinas shrugged and said ‘no one would see this anyway’.
We requested that he secured the door as is, and we would seek the original company out after all, to avoid any further damage.
We are fairly certain that he has little experience with our types of door, but he claims to otherwise.
We have no confidence in this company and would not be using them again.
Edit: further to this, Justinas has replied via the company and lied about the number of new holes he has drilled into the aluminium frame, claiming only to have made 2 new holes when he has drilled many more than that. We will strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. There are plenty other more honest companies out there.
