When we began searching for help with our spirited 8-month-old Siberian Husky, Winnie, we knew we needed a very specific trainer we could fully trust. After lots of research and heartfelt conversations, we found that trust in Logan and the Newton Pack—and we willingly traveled over 12 hours from Indiana because we knew they were the right fit.
From the very first session, Logan listened with extraordinary care as I shared the painful story of losing a beloved pet so suddenly and traumatically. He never brushed it aside. Instead, he tailored every step of the training to build confidence—for Winnie and for me.
Thanks to his patient, thoughtful guidance, Winnie now walks beautifully on leash, responds to cues we once thought impossible, and radiates happy confidence. Just as important, I feel safe and empowered as her owner, something I wasn’t sure I’d feel again after my loss.
Logan and the entire Newton Pack gave us far more than obedience skills—they gave us trust, peace of mind, and a stronger bond than I could have imagined. Traveling 12 hours was worth every mile. If you’re looking for trainers who honor both the dog’s spirit and the owner’s heart, I cannot recommend them highly enough.
I cannot recommend Logan enough! Before starting training, I was at my wits’ end with my dog’s leash reactivity. Walks had become stressful to the point where I dreaded taking her out and even considered whether rehoming might be the best option. I’m moving to Denver soon, and I knew something had to change. Working with Logan has been truly life-changing. He not only helped my dog improve tremendously but also gave me the tools and confidence I needed to guide her through challenges. Her progress has been incredible. I thought leash reactivity would be an issue that we struggled with forever, but now walks are so much more peaceful and enjoyable, and I feel hopeful and excited about our future together. If you’re struggling with your dog’s behavior, don’t give up. Reach out to Logan. He has made such a difference for both me and my dog, and I’m so grateful for his expertise and support!
There truly aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for Logan and his incredible team. My rescue dog, Cali, was struggling with severe reactivity—particularly aggression at the backyard fence toward our neighbor’s dog. It got to the point where she even attempted to jump the fence, and I was genuinely afraid to let her outside.
In addition to that, Cali was fearful of other dogs during walks and terrified of loud noises. I felt completely overwhelmed and unsure of how to help her.
That’s when Logan stepped in and completely changed everything.
Through his training program, Logan not only addressed her fence aggression with strategic, thoughtful approaches, but also helped build her confidence in a way I didn’t think was possible. Today, Cali walks calmly on a leash, no longer reacts to loud noises, and—most importantly—she can go out in the backyard without me fearing she’ll react or try to jump the fence.
Logan’s follow-up training sessions have been incredibly impactful. He didn’t just work with Cali—he empowered me with the tools and confidence I needed to continue the progress at home. Now, Cali and our neighbor’s dog coexist peacefully, and I can finally relax knowing she’s safe and happy.
Logan, thank you for giving Cali a second chance and for helping her become the balanced, confident dog she was meant to be. You and your team are truly the best!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Newton Pack Dog Training! From day one, Logan and his team were incredibly helpful, patient, and full of knowledge. What really stood out to us was how they tailored the training to fit not just our dog’s needs, but our family’s lifestyle and goals as well.
They took the time to understand our dog’s unique personality and challenges, and created a plan that helped him grow into a confident, well-behaved little man (as we like to call him). Thanks to everyone there, he is now a confident little companion who listens well and behaves beautifully in public.
In addition to working with Logan, we had the pleasure of working closely with Gil—and both of them were truly OUTSTANDING. It’s clear they’re incredibly passionate about the dogs they train, and they bring a deep well of knowledge about canine behavior to every session. No matter the challenge, they offer thoughtful, effective solutions. Their calm, supportive energy and personalized approach made a real difference for our dog—and for us as doggie parents.
Whether you’re struggling with behavioral issues or just looking to help your dog thrive, I can’t recommend Newton Pack Dog Training enough. You will see results within the first week and they will provide you and your dog with all the tools you need to be set up for success after training is completed!
Thank you Logan, Gil, and Team! Percy and moms are furever grateful for the wonderful experience!
My Alaskan Malamute, Juneau, was a very anxious puppy with major separation anxiety & a small issue with biting. Logan & the trainers at Newtons Dog Training absolutely transformed my pup. She is now a very happy dog with so much more confidence and a significant change in her anxiety. I NEVER thought I would be able to walk her off leash & give her the freedom that all dogs deserve. Thanks to Logan, she can now live the best life she deserves.
I very much recommend Newton Pack training. Logan (and Kaitlyn) are amazing! We had a rescue that at about 9 months was completely unmanageable. We had to keep her separate from the rest of our pack. After 3 week with Logan we are one happy family, and totally satisfied with what we got from Newton! Sending our older dog next. We went from a separated family to this almost instantly when she got home..
We can’t say enough great things about Newton Pack Dog Training! Logan is an incredible trainer and teacher who provided us with all the tools we needed—not just for our board-and-train dog, Louie, but also for our younger bloodhound, Winona, who Logan graciously allowed to join us during mid-week visits/sessions.
Louie was a highly reactive dog who made public walks nearly impossible, and his severe anxiety left us hesitant to kennel him or leave him alone. After all the hard work Logan and his team put in, combined with the invaluable training and tools they gave us, Louie now has so much more confidence. We can quickly and easily correct his reactive behavior when needed, and the transformation has been incredible!
We highly recommend Newton Pack Dog Training to anyone in need of expert guidance. Logan and his team truly went above and beyond to help us become the best dog parents we could be. Thank you for everything!
Logan is the real deal! We did ten weeks with him and his team with our puppy golden retriever… (as well as boarding her with them) she is so high energy and I think if we hadn’t done training with her, we would’ve really struggled but instead we enjoy her so much! He truly ensures you have a relationship with your dog, not just obedience (but you’ll get that too!). We also did some lessons with our 7 year old Husky who struggled around other dogs on a leash. I had a hard time on walks with my young daughter but now can confidently take both dogs and my daughter on a walk.
Not to mention, whenever we brought Millie to training and she saw Logan, she lost her mind with excitement. 10/10, can’t recommend enough!
I highly recommend Logan Newton as a dog trainer. When I adopted Ginger in July 2024 she was not used to walking on a leash and seemed afraid of getting in the car or going to new places. The biggest challenge was going on walks and the hyper-reactivity when we walked by or would see another dog. Which was stressing out her , my other dog Cody and myself. I did not know what to do. Ginger attended board and train for three weeks. I appreciate the time Logan spent working with Ginger while she was there as well as educating me along the way. Her progress was evident at each weekly visit. She went from being hyper-reactive to receiving compliments from strangers on how well behaved she is. Now, Ginger, Cody and I can enjoy off leash walks in the parks, outings at the beach or around town or coming to work with me. Complete transformation.
We are exceptionally fortunate to have had the chance to work with such a skilled, talented trainer. Coach Logan trained us just as much as he trained our puppy. The skills and knowledge he gave us we incorporate into our other dogs and it has made world of difference in our lives. Our 7 month old Peanut has the confidence of a wolf to run up and down mountains by our side but disciplined to settle beside us in a crowd. Her recall is immediate and we can really see the happiness she feels to obey when we give her a command.
We call him Dr. Logan because with his help, we were able to therapize our 3YO Golden Retriever, Roo. Between being a COVID dog, a newborn, and a new house, Roo had developed some not great in-home behavior. She was very anxious, had bad door manners, and liked scratching at doors. Logan helped develop a plan to curb these behaviors, and learn some great ones along the way. We view this as a great investment worth it for not only Roo, but any dogs we might have in the future!
Logan is amazing and has saved our dog’s life. He had aggressive behavior issues and Logan showed us why our boy was acting out and how to teach him to be a better and more relaxed dog, that doesn’t have to be on alert all the time. If you have a dog that has behavior issues, Logan is the first call you should make. We loved what he has done for our family so much, we’re taking our 9 month old pup through a behavior plan so she doesn’t learn bad habits.
If you love your canine companion but their behavior is limiting your ability to enjoy the world together then Logan and Newton Pack is your best solution.
My ten-year-old dog, Flot, was aggressive and reactive, and many “expert trainers” had told us that he could not be saved. After the 3rd loose dog charged us since moving to PCB and not wanting to limit our pup the only the back yard we called Logan.
Logan was candid, receptive, and realistic. We came up with a plan for Flot and put in the work. While we instantly noticed improvement with Flot while in Logan’s care the biggest benefit was when we got Flotsam home. He was calm, well behaved, and eager to continue his training—and it even rubbed off on his sister.
We can now take them on walks, adventures, and even just out to run errands. Our dog that we love is not limited to just being our pet at home.
Logan was a great trainer and we felt confident in his ability to take care of our pup and keep him safe. Logan was very responsive and provided great insight into what Flotsam was experiencing. The weekly joint training during and after the boarding was greatly beneficial to Flot’s and our, transformation. If you are willing to put in the work and learn from Logan then this training is worth every penny. My biggest regret is not doing this years ago.
