I have been receiving, reading, and using this free community magazine since its inception. I have lived in Douglasville for almost 50 years, and I have thoroughly enjoyed this magazine, although I am not a business owner to support its existence. I appeal to those local business owners to support this magazine and support its existence because it delivers important monthly information that are helpful to the community. Thank you.

I just moved to Villa Rica/Temple area from Illinois and I enjoyed getting the magazine in the mail the other day. It has so much information that I would’ve had no idea about otherwise. I like the way the magazine is organized. I especially liked seeing all of the weekly/monthly events going on in the area.
This is a very nice magazine and I’m looking forward to getting one every month?

Hi Kandi! First of all, welcome to the area. It's a great place to live and work. Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review about the magazine and how it has helped you as a newcomer. Ever since I started the first magazine (Chapel Hill) in 2000, followed by Villa Rica in 2008, that's really been the focus - to provide interesting information. And thank you for mentioning the organziation. I am blessed with such a great staff, including the designers we have, and credit for that goes to them. When I am proofreading the magazine every month, I am often amazed about how everything just comes together, and love how the ladies that do the design tie it all up together. And yes, it is monthly, so as long as you are in the 30180 or 30179 zip code it should come every month toyour home. Thanks again for the awesome review!
I enjoy reading Chapel Hill News and Views. The articles are interesting, especially the "History Matters" column, and the magazine helps me keep up with what's happening in my area. And unlike neighborhood Internet apps, it doesn't expose me to hate speech and craziness.

This magazine has been a valuable resource for my family. We love going out to see live music and attending different events around town and the neighboring cities. You will not find a more comprehensive and easy to read list than this monthly publication. The magazine also includes articles featuring upcoming businesses, outstanding citizens and highlighting important community updates. I highly recommend taking a look at this free community resource!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Villa Rica/Temple News and Views for its unwavering support of the Carroll County Animal Shelter. For over a decade, it has dedicated space in each issue to feature shelter animals - giving them a chance to be seen, appreciated, and ultimately adopted. It is such a benefit for people to be able to see and read about the shelter animals, which they might not even know existed. The News and Views commitment has made a profound difference, helping countless animals find homes they otherwise may never have had.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this partnership has been witnessing the impact firsthand. I’ll never forget the time we helped the editor choose a dog for his son—it was early in the paper’s journey of highlighting shelter pets, and the editor spotted Gil on our Facebook page. Soon after, he made the decision to adopt Gil, giving him a new name and a loving home. Morris Day has been a cherished member of that family ever since!
Thank you again Villa Rica/Temple News and Views for all these years of working with us to promote the animals at the shelter and find them good homes. This partnership has meant so much to us, and we are truly grateful for all that you have done.

Hi Nancy. Thank you so much for the glowing review. As a company full of animal lovers, we are so thankful that we have a platform that we can use to help dogs and cats find their forever homes. And you are right about Morris Day (this is Tim writing this). Back in 2014 you submitted Gil as the pet of the month. When I saw him, I noticed how much he looked like a dog that we use to have. My son Dylan was battling liver cancer at the time and wanted to have a pet as a reason to battle even harder. He came up with the name Morris Day. Sadly, he lost his battle with cancer in 2015, so Morris is extra special to our family. He is such a sweet dog! I would not hesitate to get another dog there. Thanks for all you do there to help animals find homes.
We appreciate Tim's care about our programs and inviting the community to participate! The Dallas Library loves support from our community!

The seniors at the Villa Rica Senior Center love getting the Villa Rica/Temple News and Views. They enjoy finding all the different activities that they can get involved in and many use it to find services available in the community.
