We booked the kayak and snorkel trip, but due to high winds, the team quickly switched us to a group SUP and snorkel trip instead. The equipment was clean and in great condition, and all the staff were super friendly.
We even got to swim with a seal. A huge shoutout to our guide, Dave, who went the extra mile to make sure we had a blast. He told us all about the local history and nature, and he even got us surfing some waves. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back next time we are in Newquay.

Throughly enjoyed the experience, the Instructor/Leader James was full of information on local history and pointed out Jellyfish, Crabs sandeels and even took us to see a friendly seal. It was a never rushed and I was relieved the only thing I had to carry was a paddle! Would recommend, thank you James
Awesome SUP tour experience from Newquay!
Awesome afternoon learning the basics of SUP before exploring some of the coves around Newquay. James our instructor was very patient, conscientious and managed a very mixed group of different abilities with amazing results. Despite being our first time paddle boarding, James gave us the confidence to enjoy the tour at our own level and yet still keep up with everyone else. We learnt loads about the marine life; watched seals swim underneath us, saw spider crabs and loads of jellies. James has a brilliant knowledge of the local sealife - he was a pleasure to listen to. Definitely recommend 100%.

We have never been paddle boarding before but our instructor Rudi was very easy going and made learning easy and our trip fun (the hardest part was honestly getting into the wetsuit), we really enjoyed snorkeling and was lucky enough to see a young grey seal up close (very fat and cute). It was our first ever trip experience and it couldn't have gone better, I would highly recommend and will be back again on our next trip! :D

Me and my partner had an amazing time with the snorkel super sup safari, our guide Rudi was extremely informative and helpful and provided lots of interesting facts and tidbits of info as we paddled about the coast off the harbour. Each snorkelling section was very lovely and we even got a close encounter with a young grey seal which was very cute.

At 56 I was feeling brave and booked myself on a "bucket list" item to have a bodyboard lesson. I have a bad knee, am not super fit, am menopausal, have never worn a wet suit..so as you can imagine i was really nervous. However on arrival i met the super smiley Grace who said i was the only one booked on (more nerves..) but then i met the instructor George. What a thoroughly nice, knowledgable person and all round good guy he is. I got in the wetsuit (not so tricky as imagined) Then we walked to Fistral through the sunny streets of Newquay, carrying our bodyboards. After a safety briefing (we spotted 2x rip currents) and some basic "how to.." yes George made it look easy. We waded into the surf. Cue around an hour of his patient and joyful instruction, yes i got properly dunked a few times when i fell off but when i finally rode a wave properly i squeeled with joy, then it was all worth it..i didn't need to be nervous at all. Thank you George for being such a champ and also for carrying my board home and up the steep sand bank..a true gent. I will never forget this joyous morning and plan to keep trying to skim those waves and finding my bodyboard joy in future..
If i can have a go and have fun doing it anyone can, so don't hesitate getting booked in!

Kayak & Snorkelling Fun in Newquay
My sister and I did the Kayaking & Snorkelling tour from Newquay with Newquay Activity Centre and we loved it. We had originally booked it for a Thursday but I received a WhatsApp offering us to move it to the next day so our group would be smaller and of a similar age (a large school group was going to be doing the experience at the same time), so we took their advice. Our trainer/guide was Harrison and he went above and beyond to make sure we all felt safe and had a great time. The experience was a little pricy but (£80 each) it was worth it as we hadn't kayaked on the ocean before, and Harrison took us to several different caves and locations that we might have missed without. It was about 2 1/2 hours total in the end including the walk down the cliffs to the ocean entry point the Newquay Activity Centre used - which I should add my sister was a little leery about as it wasn't of a pier or jetty, just down a cliffside - but there were no issues and we all made it into the ocean without injury. I should add that we brought our own wetsuits, but they do provide them if you don't have them as well as snorkel & mask (no fins which was unexpected). We saw lots of crabs, jellyfish and a local seal and it was overall the highlight of our holiday to Cornwall. I definitely recommend.
